My neighbor, two doors down, actually made a negative remark directly to me yesterday regarding the two small American f**gs I have in the fern planters on my front porch. As of this morning, I now have a beautiful 20 foot f**g pole next to the porch flying an even more beautiful 4 X 6 American f**g. I can’t wait until it gets dark and the 8000 Lumen spot light turns on.

Keep us updated sound awsome

The spot light works fantastic! The f**g is absolutely beautiful at night.
The neighbor filed a complaint with the HOA requesting the pole and f**g be removed.
An HOA board member presented a copy of the complaint to me by hand.
I presented a copy of H.R.42 - Freedom to Display the American F**g Act of 2005 to the HOA board member (I just happened to have a copy available 😁).
I told the board member if they wish to pursue the matter I’ll gladly provide them with my attorney’s contact information as I had no further comment nor did I have any intent to remove the f**g.
I also reminded them, being recently retired, I have plenty of time to address this matter, should they decide to challenge my rights in court. I mentioned I would also be filing a request with the court to have the HOA reimburse me for my legal fees after I won the case.
The HOA board member was simply doing their job by addressing the neighbor’s complaint. He informed me they will not be taking any legal action.
As a side note, the smaller f**gs that the neighbor originally complained about are still displayed in my front porch fern planters. The trio of f**gs make a wonderful display.
I almost forgot to mention. After the above, I also hand delivered a copy of H.R.42 to my neighbor along with an invitation card to my Independence Day BBQ party.

Love the way you handled this. My neighbors and I tolerate a lot from one another and go out of our way to try to resolve any problems. I only ever had one serious problem with a neighbor a block away for trapping rodents. She sent a cop to my house on animal cruelty grounds. That one went away quietly, but to no ones satisfaction. Fortunately she is in the next block.
