First do not permanently damage our Republic by showing you can be intimidated into changing a decision. Second, even if you have caved show some courage and issue your ruling now. Do not do it at the last minute and scatter into hiding.

Hopefully they'll man up. I don't trust Roberts or Kavanaugh.

Roberts is the key. I believe he has been c*********d and has a lot of influence over Kavenaugh.

First let's call on them to reflect on the law, precedent, and the will of the majority of the country

Totally agree with you. Caving would do nothing but embolden the mob to believe they can get what they want through intimidation, bullying and threats of violence and thus they will continue with these tactics every time some controversial issue is being decided or v**ed upon. I also agree with J that Roberts is untrustworthy. I believe he is causing the delay in releasing the opinion because he is still trying to influence/manipulate one of the conservative justices to change his/her mind. Basically doing the same thing as the mob .. just in a kinder gentler way.

They are to decide on the Constutution and nothing else, otherwise separate but equal would still be the law if the land.

Are you so completely lacking in civics knowledge? Rhetorical question. Yes, you are.

The job of SCOTUS is to determine constitutionality of cases and DOES NOT include the ”will of the people”!

Unbelievable he would even add that. Wonder what his attitude would be if this was a 2A issue???? Would will of the people make a difference then??
