The woman being persecuted for the diary. Was the person who moved into the room at the rehab center after Ashlie Biden checked out of that same rehab establishment. The diary was left behind. The woman had two options. The first would have been to turn it in to the administrator of the facility. The average honest citizen would have done this. The other option is she just claim it as her property and do with it as she pleased, including selling it. Someone in a drug rehab facility would probably choose this. The only thing that would cloud the issue as to whether she abandoned (left) the diary or not, is if she contacted the facility to say she had left it behind before it came to light and people were trying to authenticate it.
