I'd still get up early Saturday mornings for real cartoons.
They stopped airing them because they said , they were to violent. But real life k*****g videos, is OK.
What I would do for a Mustang Fastback.
Port Townsend Washington, has a drive in Theater..

I loved going to the Drive-ins. We'd play on the playground beneath the big screen until dusk and raced back to the car when the cartoon started. These days, they won't put the kind of playground equipment we played on because of liability fears. I feel sorry for kids today. They have no idea the kind of fun we had as kids. We'd play Army all the time with toy guns and no one became a murderer. As I recall, everything changed after 1983. Kids no longer played with toys guns after this tragic accident.

There's still one that continues movies every summer in Idaho Falls Idaho too. And it's packed every Friday,Saturdays and Sunday.
I would still be going to a drive in.
I do remember that shooting. Terrible accident.
There is a liberal view I see.. Anytime a terribly awful accident happens , remove what ever it was that may prevent it..
No fun park's
No circus
No cars
Fill in the other ten thousand blanks until you get to the terrible accident of the hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands that died choking on food

Wish I were closer. But I know where I'm going if anywhere near Idaho Falls.
There was something about Drive in pizza and popcorn that never made it to the walkin Theaters.

Yeah, we used to sneak it in along with our friends in the trunk of the car.

Me to. Lol
Just found one only hour and a half away. Great date night with my honey.
Last year I built a drive-in in my side yard. It can accommodate eight cars and is free to whoever comes first. Sometimes I even get the Amish from down the road. I supply the popcorn but anything else you have to bring. It's amazing; I haven't had to clean up one scrap of paper yet. I only open on weekends but people love it. Tonight's showing is "The Blob" with Steve McQueen.

Drive-ins seem like a great idea, especially during a p******c when people were trying to social distance themselves. They worked so well that one got Joe Biden elected.

We used to sit in the back of our pickup on a mattress when we were kids and watch it under the stars. It was awesome.

We would bring lawn chairs to sit in and later as teens we'd bring the mattress for our date. Sometimes i couldn't tell you what movie was playing.
