Price gouging? Where was the outrage when these same companies were taking huge losses in 2020. In the end it will all balance out to an average historical profit margin over a number of years. Price fixing, which is what the Democrats want, does nothing but create shortages and increase prices longer term. Of course Democrats want to drive energy prices higher or take complete control of American energy sector so it's all going according to plan.

Inflation is caused by the complete shut down of mostly blue states and cities strangling the supply chain. Then pumping trillions of f**e money into the demand chain creating a massive imbalance in the economies around the world. A democrat created crisis to take advantage of. A crisis caused by power hungry politicians takes awhile to work itself out and a price will be paid by us for all that bad policy.

Believe what you must and you can blame the high gas prices on supply chain issues, pipeline closures, Putin, P******c or wh**ever makes you feel comfortable, but in reality, it has always been a part of the Green New Deal plan of the far-left Democrats to eliminate our dependence upon f****l f**ls and rely on clean energy that leaves a miniscule carbon footprint. This wasn't supposed to have happened so quickly, but with the C****-** p******c in their "favor", they realized the time is NOW to push forward. We are just an afterthought.

This summer we will likely see an average price of gas at $6/gallon (higher on the coasts) and diesel that operates trucks, farm equipment, boats much higher. Washington state is already experiencing gasoline shortages and closing down stations. Farmers won't have enough petroleum-based fertilizer for their crops, so their yields will be smaller.
