Until the 1965 Griswold vs. Connecticut case the use of contraceptives in the State of Connecticut was illegal. The Comstock Law prohibited the use OF anything that prevented conception. The Supreme Court overturned this archaic law by a 7–2 v**e.

It wasn't until 7 years later when Eisenstadt vs. Baird (1972) established the right of unmarried people to possess contraceptives. This is not ancient history folks. A lot of us were alive before these rulings were made.

These cases were the precursors to Roe vs Wade which established the right to privacy and equal protection for women seeking a******n. With Roe vs Wade all but overturned, all these rights including same sex marriage could go down.

In a case Neil Gorsuch was involved in, Burwell vs. Hobby Lobby corporations were excused from providing coverage for contraceptives if they had a religious objection.
