Linda, if you take that s off of https you will make it an active link.

I don't think it will do a bit of good, but I did sign it. I think Obama wants this spread around a little. I guess he figures none of the government so called leaders are going to get this. He sure has let it be known that he doesn't care about the rest of us.

If this hits a dozen cities in the USA, it would no doubt cause such panic that it would cause to deaths. The deaths of untold numbers of citizens, and the death of the economy.
Obama would then place himself as king.

Thanks for the quick link, I signed it with Hope

It is a noble gesture lijo and, it might bring attention to the problem that Ebola is here. The fact that it is already here, may mean anything now could be too little, too late.

Having been around during Vietnam, I personally got to vehemently protest it, register for the draft and, still have enough time to get a National Defense ribbon of my very own before the political machinery finally brought it to a close.

Our government only has ears for corporations, we just don't have the funds to compete with them individually. If flights were halted, who would lose money, you, me, Joe the Plumber? Probably not but, I bet Boeing and any other aviation or entertainment industry giants would. Greed trumps common sense every time. Do you think the Obama Administration is concerned that a mere few hundred thousand, maybe many more, Americans might contract Ebola and succumb to it?

This a few years old but, I'm certain nothing much has changed since 2010.

Democrats and Republicans Sharing Big-Dollar Donors, DCCC’s Million-Dollar Pay-Off and More in Capital Eye Opener: November 10

CORPORATIONS GIVE BIG TO BOTH SIDES: The Democratic Governors Association and Republican Governors Association share 48 top donors, a Center for Responsive Politics analysis of the group’s top 100 non-individual donors indicates. Of these 48 donors, 45 are corporations and three are trade associations, the Center finds. This reinforces the maxim that companies seek access to politicians, and by donating to both parties, they ensure that access regardless of which party holds majority.

If we want to stop the spread of Ebola, we better see what we can do about the spread of corporate funds to our jacklegged representatives first.

Thanks for your info! Heck, I'll sign it, I could be wrong, right?

Just an aside, I'm number 43, 708, after the White House thanked me for my patronage, they said my toe tag and IRS audit notice would be coming forthwith. I just love a democratic administration, it's all about giving. :XD: :XD: :XD:

God bless their evil, little hearts!

Thank you for signing...You echo the very things I've said s well..Flights and the economy of Africa at risk in the no fly stand but at this point too bad..I know its why they haven't ordered it but enough already..It is too late, its here and it's going spread and I'd like to know what they have to cure it??? Seems those whom go to Emory Hosp. in Atlanta have done well in recovery, so what is it they ar doing or using?

Both the nurses from Texas now diagnosed with ebola were flown there yesterday.. Another who handled the blood samples is on a cruise, where they denied entry to Belize, have him quarantined altho they say he doesn't have the symptoms...

My sister and Aunt are both nurses and if you look nurses across the country are protesting the lack of protocol or even procedures when a patient presents at the hospitals,,Why, fear of infection of course..This is first hand knowledge that I'll listen to over any of the garbage spewed lies we're being told!!! We are not "medically" ready for this and the operating procedures in place are wholly inadequate..

So, little that it may do in signing, anything is better than nothing..Almost like that POS whom appointed a "Czar" over this..What the heck good is that?? I mean, really, what the heck good is it?? Forget appointing people to over-see this, anyone with eyes and ears know...Action not BS is needed here!

I agree, action not BS or BO for that matter.

My nephew was recently in Texas on business. He stated, "I can't wait to get out of this state". I kind of laughed and thought, "Ya rum dummy, unless you plan on driving back to Minnesota in your plastic bubble, you better hope and pray that your plane and everything at the airport there is Ebola free. Good grief, leave it to the democrats to end the freakin' world.

How's that song go? Oh yeah...

http://youtu.be/LOwxp9RRpok

(We should know better) Dream of better lives the kind which never h**e
(We should see) Trapped in a state of imaginary grace
(We should know better) I made a pilgrimage to save this human's race
(We should see) Never comprehending a race that's long gone by

(Let's stop the world) I'll stop the world and melt with you
(Let's stop the world) You've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time
And there's nothing you and I won't do
(Let's stop the world) I'll stop the world and melt with you

The future's open wide
