It is to steadily awaken in its citizenry the desire and commitment to community while always maintaining, strengthening, and enhancing the rights and dignity of the individual. The people are to find common cause and the common good in working together to protect and preserve these principles without endangering the future, forgetting its past, or engaging in emergency or expedient measures limiting previous gains for wh**ever reason. A nearly impossible juggling act.

A Republic or a democracy needs extremely committed individuals willing to sacrifice everything to assure freedom grows; its enemy is anyone and all who gives up on these forms of government because they did not get their way and look for violent or legislative ways to desert freedom, instead of open negotiation to resolve conflicts. They are the patriots of whine and moan, not those absolutely committed to liberty at any cost. Real liberty will always tease the faint of heart to secession or r*******n instead of tempting them to a table to talk things over.

You supported the number one enemy of the entire free world, Obama. His criminal legacy will go into the history of mankind and the future will ask, how did those American's living at the time, allow this insane loonie to be elected two times? How did this happen?

Freedom would grow by leaps and bounds if we would disallow government to enter into our lives and our businesses. Government is the ONLY thing that takes any freedoms away, though it grants NONE. Government is THE major problem in the world today.

You are a woman after my own heart. It is too bad that most people don't stop to think how much government is encroaching into the lives of each one of us from how much water our toilet tanks can hold, to what we can say in public without it being considered h**e speech. No we do not live (yet) in a tyrannical state, but what we have now is a type of soft tyranny. creeping up like the fog so that we don't notice it until we can no longer see a country where its citizens are free to live their own lives..
