Joe Biden showed how inept and weak he was in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, short of war, he will never get Xi's and Putin's respect back. I'm a little surprised that Xi isn't as aggressive as Putin.

There s no need for Russia to invade Ukraine as long as Ukraine has no intentions to try and join NATO. Ukraine needs to be that buffer between NATO's aggressions and Russia. Put that in binding writing and these tensions just blow away in the wind. But they better happen soon before Russia is forced to act because of the United States butting in where they are not needed and just causing trouble. Russia would much rather be a trading partner with Ukraine and Europe and also sell them gas and oil then go to war.
