Many (actually most) of the people coming into the health care setting are at some point of the scale 'immunoc*********d' or 'at risk' in some fashion. And, even in areas where the patient is 'healthy' (there for a routine physical, etc.), the health care worker with them will be dealing with another patient later.

They can, but they don't HAVE to.

The SC blocked the OSHA mandate, which was the one dictating that large businesses force the v*****e on their employees if they had more than 100 employees. Neither OSHA nor Biden can just make a law like that - it has to go through Congress. The health care workers' mandate is not part of the OSHA mandate, and it is a policy, not a mandate....The court allowed to take effect the v*****e policy rolled out in November by the US Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, which sought to require the C****-** v*****e for certain health care workers at hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

That policy (not mandate) is going to be looked at under a different legal scenario and different legality.

It amazes me how they can't see what's going on. If Biden were allowed to make this law - because that is what he was trying to do - then it's clear that we would be living under a Dictatorship! That's why the founders created the three branches of government...so that when laws are made, there has to be a process where it is determined if the law is a fair and just one, and not just something a ruler of a country wants to impose on the people on his own. The executive branch (President) does not make laws. The legislative branch (Congress) does that. The executive branch enforces the laws and the judicial branch (Supreme Court) evaluates the laws if they are called into question. That is how it is supposed to work.

I am astonished...stunned, really....that Biden got as far as he did with this!!!
