Beautiful isn't it? there is something special about the isolation of the winter storms that always makes me feel closer to God. Maybe it is just because if a power failure lasts too long, I may be visiting sooner than expecting. Thanks for the beautiful photo. just got out my parka.

I can picture me when I was much younger riding a horse through areas like that with SWMBO's brother's son. they were his horses. Last one I rode was about five years ago. Foolish me, after years of not riding, I thought it would be fun to ride one of his horses again. Smart horse decided to get rid of the old coot, and so he did. Tore a couple of muscles, injured a ligament and got a number of bruises and ended up in the hospital for a couple of days. Plus I got a lecture from an emergency room doctor to "act my age" Haven't gone riding since, for some strange reason.

I love snow and ice. Makes the world look clean again. Reminds me of just how small I am in comparison to God's creations.
