I find it very telling that you even read the tripe written by Vance. He is apparently oblivious to the fact that thousands of concentration camp guards were never even arrested or tried for doing their duty as members of the German Army. Those tried were mostly those who either planned and led the mistreatment, or took their duties to an extreme, that was far beyond simply obeying their orders.

His writing clearly indicates that for every single word of fact that Vance knows about this subject, there is a volume of facts that he doesn't know. In addition, you base your opinion of US military personnel and police officers on his obviously flawed reasoning.

You must spend an unbelievable amount of time each day looking up this silly rhetoric, to support your l*****t extremism. You are driving yourself mad. Reading only that warped trash every day will completely warp your mind.

I could read only anti-Semitic articles each day, and I would become anti-Semitic, myself. If I read only r****t articles every day, I myself would become an extreme r****t. If I read only right-wing extremist literature every day, I would go completely off the deep end, as you have on the l*****t tripe. You need to do something to decrease the l*****t extremism in your mind, or you will start acting on those warped extremist thoughts, like those guards who went overboard at the camps.

I disagree with you the guards didn't k**l the Jews on their own , they were ordered to. Should you follow all orders blindly without even questioning it?
That was the story subject as far as I see.
As far as me being a l*****t, I am about as far right as you could be! I wasn't born l*****t, I wasn't brought up by l*****t, and I am old enough that that I wasn't taught by a l*****t!

Good to hear that you aren't a l*****t. I offer my sincere apologies for calling you one. The simplistic statements in the link of your opening post misled me.

In some cases, the guards did commit cruel acts on their own, up to, and including k*****g Jews. Following orders, including k*****g, wasn't as simple as just making a choice. In the German Army, if you disobeyed a direct order to k**l a Jew, you had to be prepared to forfeit your own life for that decision. Very few people have the fortitude to carry their belief to the point of actually making that dire decision.

And my original posting header obviously left out there many good police people out there, that risk their lives every day doing their job. That just hardly ever makes the News.
Seems there is always a few bad apples in the bushel.
