I made a picnic lunch and the grand kids and I saddled the horses and rode to the top of the mountain. The view is breath taking. The ride up and down the mountain is a lot of fun. The best part of the day was catching up on what the grand kids had been doing the last week.

My Grandson was home from university. It was a lot of fun listening to his stories about life on campus. Of course my 15 year old granddaughter is involved in a great many activities. Both kids tell the funniest stories. It was a great day, Saturday.

I spent two straight sleepless nights. Could you please aim your bow my way and put me out of my sleepless misery? :hunf:

That should work just fine. Or you could listen to a speech from any politician of either stripe.

We spent Saturday making twenty dozen chocolate chip cookies for the church rummage sale and picnic, and sorting out things for the rummage sale. Sunday morning "Pete" and his almost parents went to church with us and the rummage sale and picnic. He had a great time and met some on the other teenagers from the area and seemed to get along well with them. Tank and Zeus came along and "Pete" used them to meet a couple of girls. smart move wasn't it? the adoption is coming along and should be completed in a couple of months. We will all breathe a sign of relief at that point! Didn't have any cookies left over, so we will have to make more to fax to everybody.

Whining on. Historically, when I am in a sleep cycle such as this one, it takes more then the tax code. I will survive this one, though an arrow just gently skimming my head, to knock me out, would have been acceptable.

PS: Hug to your southern woman. :D

Cute..not. :-( Do you really want to quarrel with me?

My circadian rhythm is totally off. The first day after a no sleep night I took a ninety minute nap. One would think I would have slept deeply that night. Such was not the case. In fact, I was up even longer. Successful sleep was mine last night.
