FYI: My neighbor bought an antique-looking painting from the Goodwill. Unfortunately, it came with poltergeist.

Sounds like a hot item. Take it to the Antiques Roadshow.

Apparently you don't read very well. I said it belonged to a neighbor, NOT to me.

That must've been a personal incident. I've never known the Salvation Army to refuse money.
Incidentally, the Salvation Army is the ONLY charity that I will give to because about 90% of the donations go to help people. Contrary to the Red Cross where 90% of the donations go to staff, especially the CEO. That's true of every other charity. United Way and Red Cross pay their CEOs $millions!!!

I quit giving to Red Cross because of the things they did which I heard first hand from my uncles who served in the South Pacific in WWII.

Same here. When I heard how petty the Red Cross had been to our soldiers, I made it a point to never donate to them again. My husband also had a story to tell about how they treated volunteers.

Sad but true. My father served in the Navy during WWII and was refused leave to attend his mother's funeral. That was fault of Red Cross at the time.

You must be ambidextrous because you can play with your brain and post stupid stuff on OPP!
