The DOJ is redefining a law in order to apply it to a situation it was not intended to cover for political purposes. In essence, changing a law after the fact to fit an accused crime. Lady Liberty as applied by the democrats is not what she used to be.

What are you babbling on about? If anything the DOJ is going soft on this because of the optics

"The statute, obstruction, is typically applied to court-related conduct, like threatening judges, jurors or witnesses. However, prosecutors have leveled the obstruction charge against about a third of the roughly 700 J*** 6 defendants over their alleged efforts to disrupt the e*******l v**e tally that Congress was undertaking."
Obstruction statute was not designed to cover almost any kind of effort to delay almost anything a federal government official or body was planning to do. That is an extreme distortion of the actual statute.
