It seems to me it was “mostly peaceful”. The hilarious part is the person not on camera asking the gathered assembly to “please trust law enforcement to do their job.” 🤣 In Minnesota none the less. What happened to the community outcry to defund law enforcement? I thought they were all corrupt. I wish you guys would make up your mind.

Well perm. Bad article to post on your part. The masked man was the instigator. He started the incident. I say the FBI should have taken him down and put him in solitary confinement .

I for one am sick and tired of these boorish clueless loudmouths threatening school boards and public health officials. There is a crisp line between stating your opinion during public comment time at open meetings and disrupting official business and threatening the lives of public servants and elected officials. The latter fits the definition of making terrorist threats and should be treated as such.
Your pick up sticks and marbles are sitting in the corner waiting for you to go play…
Those same school board members hair are the very ones who are threatening our children eith their l*****t mantra BS and parents get pissed about that and you can bet they will tell them so…
How many School board meetings have you attended? I’ve been to a number of them over the CRTBS and can tell you all the words spoken were not about personal threats to the board members…
Homeschooling brought parents to the realization of what was and was not being taught in the public school system and rebelled last year over the curriculum. Then they came out with the CRT farce and even more parents rebelled.
Just in my residential area alone I can tell you more children are homeschooled now than attending a school. One group even has a teacher who refused to go back to teaching in the classroom.. She is a certified teacher and tutoring the children that are doing home curriculum now and guess what, they’re actually being taught about true history, true civics, cursive hand writing not just dumb downed to printing only...etc..
Personally I think the Department of Education needs to be shut down and the responsibility brought back to the state level position where it should be.

Well, I have to concede to gman that it was a poor choice.. I grabbed it because it was in Minnesota.
The defund police movement, poorly named as it is, does have some real attributes. I think the process you are refering to is the one down in Mpls which is in court cases on several points.. I think it is very bad, makes the police subject to city council oversight and may or may not remove the office of police chief..
How ever it does not end the police dept. nor are the vast majority of people in MN at all working to end any police departents.. In general the idea has been to remove some social responsibilty from the police and creat a dept of trained people to handle thing s police are not trained for.. mental illness, maybe domestic incedents , maybe cats sstuck in trees.. the funding referance is moving money from police dept to the new office, and the personel to fill that need.. the number of police to reamain the same or increase..
And of course some nut cases call for community enforcement/protect by vigilanty groups rather then police... never will happen..
One of the main issues in the court cases in Mpls is the wording of the article on the b****t.. not sure of current standing on any of the court cases..

Yet biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that FBI would lead the response to what he called “a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.”
