I didn’t read wrong. I don’t care about Dec 25th being picked by the Catholics. I do know Satan has inspired many false religions but none offer salvation.

I believe that most of the ordinary average Christians today are busy living their lives, working, raising their families and are not concerned about how paganism influenced the holidays that we celebrate. Easter is another holiday that has paganism intertwined into the story. There is little doubt that Jesus was not born in December, but Christians have celebrated this date as his birthday for many years. Does the fact that the date is wrong take away from the fact that he was born? No, it doesn’t! Does the fact that Easter has a bunny rabbit and hidden eggs which has nothing to do with the resurrection of our Savior take away from the celebration and worship of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us? No, it doesn’t, IMO.

What is important is that we read and study the Bible, the entire Bible…….We teach our children, we share the gospel, we spread the Good News that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born, he died, he arose 3 days later, and that his sacrifice paid the debt for all who believe and place their faith in him.

Let me be clear…..I’m not saying that educating ourselves about paganism and the occult, about all the false teachings out there is not profitable to know and to teach others about. The closer we get to the end, the stronger and more desperate Satan gets to enlarging his army. I’m just saying that the knowledge that is between the first page and the last page in the Bible was written for each of us, directed by God himself and that is where we place our concentration. Therein lies truth and knowledge to fight against the dark forces of this world that is gearing up for the Anti-Christ.

There is nothing wrong with celebrating the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the designated days marked on our calendar. IMHO! If God knows the number of the hairs on each of our heads, He certainly knows what’s in our hearts and what we are celebrating on Christmas and Easter………We celebrate and worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hope you’re enjoying this fall weather. It is really nice here on the coast this time of year!

Too many look into false religions lightly. It should never be done without wearing our full armor lest we be decived. And many are deceived

I agree that very few Christians care.

Yes I love this time of fall, it's winter that get's to me now.

I used to enjoy below zero weather in La pine Oregon...now it's a scary to me.

I moved to the Willamette Valley, for the milder climate.

Not so young anymore.

Look how precise that the holidays in Leviticus are laid out, down to the minute.

The Creator isn't a God of confusion.

Rose, you know how you always tell someone "that's just your opinion"?

Prove what you are saying, because the evidence that I provided is solid.

Its only your opinion that its solid.

Satan is the influence for many false religions including islam, mormonism and others. In none of them is Christ the savior nor is there any free gift of salvation.
