Congress had nowhere to go when AG Barr was trump's defender and enabler...what, enforce subpoenas? Perish the thought.
We will see, it's going to get interesting.
Pleading the 5th as an admission of guilt that it is could easily trigger indictments and prosecution that would cut through discovery defenses.

I've got more micro breweries in my area than you do, I can also hunt coyotes out back, and do a wicked barbecue steak...I may be going to Las Vegas to pick up a boat but the plan is for me and a friend to drive a straight turnaround.

I've got more real men in my area than you do. I, as well can hunt coyotes out back, and out front if I'm careful. I don't shoot, or hand a rifle to a friend to shoot if it has potential of striking a neighbor's home as you do. Gonna be a good quail season on my place as well.
