Introduce Yourself
An introduction, a little belated (but not by much)

Call me Gusty. I'm in America, in Arizona, not in hiding from anyone (Yet). I like Thomas Jefferson and the principles of liberty he expressed so often and so well. Particularly the idea of governors bound to their duty by law. Bound by law also from exceeding their just powers. I think the taxation of wages is unlawful, the taxation of property is also unlawful. It seems to me that we do not own our property any more but rent if from our governors for if we do not pay the rent (Tax) we are fined, our wages are confiscated, or we are evicted. All that we possess we seem to possess at the pleasure of our public servants. If that be true we have ceased to be free men.
Hello to all and my best regards.
Gusty

Hi there Gusty: Delighted that your here. As my mother would say, one more in the pot will always make the stew better. I to think Jefferson was one of the best. He certainly was clear and concise. And reading his statements, One would get the idea it was just yesterday that he wrote them. Looking forward to your postings to come. RETW

Hi, Gusty!
You sound like the type of person we need thousands and thousands more of. I am thrilled you have joined us and hope you will stay and visit with us a lot on 1PP.

I totally agree with your thinking and will take it one step farther. We aren't free. We only like to think we are because we think America has been the country we've been taught it is. We have been awakened and we have found that we live in a country almost as dictatorial as those we have gone to war with. I have the feeling it has always been thus, but Obama came along and pulled all the sheets off the carcass of the dead country and now we see it for what it is - evil because of the very people we elect to office. And those we have elected to office have dominated and taken over the thought processes of the weak-minded Americans - and together they are totally destroying us. And they are moving spasmodically and in such haste as to make me believe there is severe upheaval in the end - and we had better be ready for it. I fear those not ready for it, will be early victims.

Sorry for the rant, Gusty, but your self-introduction spurred it. Sure hope you hang around here a lot!

We welcome you with open arms!

Yup. I think I'll be around awhile and put my dimes worth in from time to time. By the way, I have no idea how the name "Jefferson" popped into the second last sentence Maybe his spirit is still with us and he was guiding my hand. Do you have a favorite Jeff. quote?
Regards,
Gusty

Hey Tasine, it didn't seem like a rant to me. You comprehend the situation quite well. We are tenants on the property which was once our own and we receive as alms the money our servants took from us in the first place. And of course we are expected to be grateful for their generosity.
You'll hear more from me from time to time. Like you my hackles are up and I'm spittin' mad.
Regards,
Gusty

Hey Charlie. I have an uncle and a great uncle named Charlie. Uncle Charlie was in the Normandy invasion and Great Uncle Charlie was a Captain in the navy and was on the repair ship moored next to the Arizona when the japs attacked Pearl Harbor. For my part I served in the army during the Korean war although I never saw combat. I'm always grateful for men like you who served with honor (and would again if called upon to do so).
Charlie, our elected officials have lost sight of their duties and suffer from a confusion of priorities. Their first allegiance, and their duty, is to we Americans who are already citizens. However many of them have either been bought or c*********d into supporting this idea of admitting these i*****l i*******ts into the country and removing obstacles to their citizenship. Others know just what they are doing and their objective is simply to admit as many liberal democrats onto the v****g list as possible. And rest assured that the i******s will v**e democrat. Yes, they are here illegally but the t*****rs and their dupes will find the means to make them "legal" and secure their v**es. I doubt that we will ever see them have a trial let alone be deported. And they will help keep one party in power perpetually. I'm sorry to say these things but I believe they are true.
Thanks for you service Charlie.
Gusty.

Well Gusty I do have faith in that there are still many of us around who won't stand by silently . maybe sherriff Joe Aripiao may be right about Oboma isn't a naturally born citizen and it falls into place with all his present coverups and assigning blame to his staff . as i said also he talks with a smile and promisses so much and as he's a flimflam artist they follow like the proverbial lamb to slaughter.Charlie
