How do you reconcile the fact that I am discussing science and scientific laws with your accusations that I have abandoned science?

My education in science began when I was five years old - my dad is responsible for that - and I've been on it ever since, eventually including formal courses in HS and college. Particularly the astronomical sciences and physics.
And through it all, politics never came into play.

IOW, politics has nothing to do with my love of science. Nor my worldview.

That which exists cannot come from nothing.
Wh**ever begins to exist must have a cause.
The universe began to exist.
Therefore the universe had a cause.

Something that is caused to exist has a purpose,
A purpose for something to exist requires an intelligence.
Therefore, an intelligence had a purpose in causing the universe to exist.

Before the universe began to exist, natural and scientific laws did not exist,
Therefore it is illogical to assume an either/or argument in which natural and/or scientific laws caused the universe to exist.

IOW, the Big Bang could not have been a "natural event".

First off I didn't call them incubators, I was referring to how pro lifer's seem to refer to them. As far as the fetus feeling pain that is up for debate but I wasn't referring to a fetus older then 8 weeks.

Yes, I know life doesn't begin until a sperm fertilizes an egg, thank you Dr. Spock. Your point? A sperm is already alive-life. It has the potential to create a human being, isn't that the argument on an embryo or a fetus, it has the potential to become a human being? This all or nothing crap is ridiculous. I am not for a******ns, but I am more against the government butting in, it is still a woman's body, her choice. They've put a window in to avoid late term pregnancies unless the mothers life is in danger, putting in to not allow anything after 6 weeks is ridiculous, many don't even know they're pregnant yet. This whole mess should be put to rest and let the government focus on governing.

Life is when something is living, is it not? A sperm is most definitely alive. Life is life, so you get to draw that line in the sand? The entire pain assumption is a possibility after 8 weeks, have you ever seen a self aborted embryo? Ask any woman who had a miscarriage that early on and let her describe it to you, you're being ridiculous, potential... does not make a baby at the time. Like I said, a 2x4 does not make a house, do you have the mental capacity to understand that? I'm tired of this BS rhetoric from extremists, this falsehood of trying to make something that it is NOT, just because it fits your mindless agenda. You're not saving a baby if it is not a baby, that is a twisted argument to serve your misguided self interest, while making other real and actual lives more difficult.
