They need straight people to do all the work. If their "life choice" were correct, there wouldn't be any people in about a hundred years. Just a practical observation... I'm not a h**er.
Your problem is that you think it's a choice and just not what is, just as being a heterosexual.

I don't have a problem, just pointing out a t***h. Theirs is a lifestyle that's been around for thousands of years. I don't know if it's genetic, choice or what. Don't care. What bugs me is in the last fifty years I keep hearing about "accepting" their lot in life. All of a sudden I'm being told I'm obligated to treat them "nice". I pick my friends, I won't be told who I'm "supposed" to like, or accept. I suppose God put them here for a reason, but I'm not compelled to care.
The 1st time God wiped them out was the flood of Noah’s time.
Then it was sodom and Gomorrah.
Next time it’s the 2nd coming with power!
Choose carefully, it’ll matter!

I agree you shouldn’t be compelled to “care”
but for most gay people any improvement over centuries of mistreatment including institutionalized murder brings a sense of palpable relief and normalcy. As usual outspoken strident militancy has gone overboard and cost them reactive pushback like we see on display here. The same thing has happened with Black L***s M****r movement which in the beginning attracted a sympathetic audience for the idea that black people could be summarily roughed up and even shot by poorly trained policemen because a black person was unconsciously viewed as having less value that a white person. Then militancy took over and went to extremes with protests that devolved into r**ting and l**ting, to the dismay of people who just wanted for their grievance to be heard and understood.
In both cases backlash has set back the original wish and damaged some of the gains made but that should not obscure the legitimacy of the original grievance.

Sorry Ma'am, but simple mechanical theory teaches us that you don't put the driveshaft in the exhaust pipe.
Wrong is wrong.

Eden, this may be hard for you to learn, but my life has been filled with people of color, gays male and female, Asian, Hispanic...on and on. My therapist is a gay man. There has never, in sixty six on this planet, been an issue other than sports or politics between ANY of us.There has been no "strident militancy", no murder, no roughing-up of my friends...You get the picture. A small percentage of morons have been cruel to a small percentage of victims.
This makes for good headlines, but most Americans "Live and Let Live".For every negative incident, there are thousands of people getting along just fine. Our "government", and it's Siamese twin, the media, are working hard to divide this country into Tribes of h**e. We are being played by them, and need to be smarter than they think we are.
Peace.

They're not asking to be liked or to be treated special, they only want to be treated unbiasedly, I find that fair, and like other biases it takes generations to finally get rid of it, h**e gets passed on from sins of the father/mother) and from anyone who has influence over us, can be a friend, a spouse, or coworker.
I believe God put us all here for a reason. I think becoming aware is a good thing, even when it may make us feel uncomfortable in the beginning. I don't think being forced is a good way to go in trying to accept anything, there is usually more resistance, I feel that way in how much they are saturating us with this issue and forcing us to watch men make out, too much, to fast. Gay people should try and respect the fact that people are still way too uncomfortable with that. I've seen it provoke anger in people.
