I can't wait for some progs to call you out on those numbers. That $179,000 plus is a bit lower than the $180,000 I have seen so many places. Will any of them even take a chance on this thread to see what it is about?

Obama works for the America people. Not many employers pay for their employees vacations unless it is intheir contracts directly, show me where the american people agree to pay for the job of the president to have a paid vacation, including the cost not just the time off paid.

Another mistake in the initial posting. AuntiE is here to correct it.
Why would you just "sequester" it for vacations? Why not just "sequester" Air Force 1 totally. Do we really need to pay for him to fly from place to place for Democratic Fund Raisers. Do we really need him to fly from place to place for speeches on his pet issues. Unless I am totally mistaken, we pay for a perfectly good office and other rooms at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue from where he can make speeches.
As an informational fact, per the US Air Force, it costs $175,500 to put Air Force 1 in the air. That number does not include the flight crew, ground crew, food of fuel once it reaches cruising altitude.

I don't know if anyone caught the little joke shown on the lead photo of Obama in the golf cart, but that little white bottle h*****g on the side behind him?
The last time I used one of them I was flying the fluid sky in a military watercraft called a UWDPV without a head to be found .
