I donno, he's a geezer, so maybe a way to just stomp on em.
I know I don't have to go into how we live in a Constitutional, representative Republic with most here, but he keeps parroting, and I think he's sold on it.
When I was shoeing horses, I did a thing I was taught that gave them a small dose of discomfort every time they acted up, and eventually, they figured it out.

So....how bout we kick, or stomp bob's boys every time he posts the word "democracy" on here? Might help break his Yahoo addiction.
We could call it "an act of brotherly love".
There has to be a way to virtually kick bad bob in... (show quote)

Typical left wing mantra. They believe that if they refer to it as a “democracy”somehow that will change what the constitution actually says and intends...You know, like keep repeating it enough times and eventually it will be believed..

While we have or utiluze democracy in our every day lives, if the Constituion meant for us to be a “democracy” then by declaration it would have so stated... The United States of America is “governed as a federal republic,”not a democracy!!

They are good at this maneuver and wish to change the Constitution out of ignorance, thst’s all~~~~

A republic is a political system in which the supreme power is vested upon the citizenry that is entitled to v**e for its representatives and officers responsible to them, while a democracy is defined as a government of the people and by the people exercised through elected or direct representative. Whats the difference between a republic and a democracy is not how power is projected, but the limits to power....

Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.
John Adams

Democracies have been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death.
James Madison

The experience of all former ages had shown that of all human governments, democracy was the most unstable, fluctuating and short-lived.
John Quincy Adams

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average v**er.
Winston Churchill

You could use a hefty dose of understanding. We're not talking about the word "democracy", we're talking about how disastrous that system of government is.

It's not disastrous, what's disastrous is, in it certain people's grasp for power which also happens clearly under republics also. We have the perfect combination.

1.A democracy... governed *by the people, for the people.* That IS an expressed democracy.

2.A Federal republic... governed by its constitutional laws, through the supreme power of our three branches of power, the federal legislative congress our judicial system, and the executive p**********l administration.

3.The constitution...Our rules of law

And with all of this in place we still have to work at protecting it

Not everyone, that's for certain. Yes Madame, AKA_ Einstein...that makes perfect sense, unfortunately only to the illogical. Not to mention your failed attempt in relating to your effort to disparage democracy, you're laughable if not for being so sad, go ahead and continue on your petty insults, same old-same old.
