Not true. The FBI has HAD the laptop for nearly 2 years, per the testimony of the repair shop where he abandoned it. The repair shop owner made a copy for himself. When the FBI did nothing with the information contained on the laptop, the repair shop owner contacted Rudy Giuliani, or another entity directly in the Trump administration and turned his copy over to them. This is all verified and has been widely reported by both left and right news outlets.
