The Israelis are fighting to defend their right to exist, to have their own home and nation. There are 15 million or so Jews on this planet, 6 million of them are Israelis. Israel is not attempting genocide or looking for lebensraum, they would very much like to live in peace. The Israeli Jews are industrious, creative, innovative people and have much to offer this world.
The Palestinians are another matter altogether.
