For example, directions from South Carolina to Florida via I-95 will state: “continue south through the stupid Sea of R****m without stopping for 112 miles.”....

"The spokesman went on to clarify that Google hasn’t completely abandoned the state. “Google will still provide one-way driving directions out of the state for anyone who currently resides in Georgia,” he noted. “Also, we will still provide directions to any out-of-state celebrities or businesses who want to donate money to the Georgia Democratic Party.

I have a few words for Google, but I dare not put them in writing.

IMHO: I have a good many words for Google as well which I won't elaborate on here. These C*******t censors already censor a lot of videos coming in to me as well as several websites. Much of the media has been destroyed by these toads. I am on Google Fiber and have enjoyed very fast uploading and downloading, but the downloading is getting slower and slower and slower. We need other network providers to come on the net without any dependence on Google, which would be tough, but Google needs some competition or serious government regulation. Government regulation is about out of the question since they are actually part of the problem in the first place. I left AT&T because of their size and dictatorial methods when I came to Google, and if a new provider comes along with anything near Google's speed (which is now decreasing for my system) I will move to them as quickly as I can. I also like Amazon, but they are becoming more and more political so I am considering biting the bullet and boycotting their services and using ebay or something. Yahoo, Facebook, and Twitter are also large parts of the problem. This crap is totally out of hand and needs to be stopped, and the only way I know of is to not use their services.

Two browsers that I use instead of Google, and am very happy with, are Gibiru and Dogpile. Some people like DuckDuckGo and Bing....but I still like Gibiru and Dogpile better. There are also several others you can use too. Best is to try them, and see which best fits your needs. Here's a good article about alternatives to Google, and why Google is not a good browsing avenue any more - most important is the lack of privacy. Google sells personal information to advertisers....and who knows who else:

If you like any of them, you can usually download them free and make the one you like your default browser instead of Google. (When you go to their site, look for a free download....) Good luck!

I use duckduckgo most of the time, and sometimes The Tor Browser, but when you get back to a video clip sometimes it has been spiked by Yahoo or others and won't play on my Ubuntu system.

Really, are you serious? Still shows up on Google maps. More f**e news like the tall tales about Trump's e******n win. Oh, that's right he lost.

Google replaced Georgia with Abrams, she's just as big on the map, and you can escape by driving through her two front teeth.

This is a spoof story from the Babylon Bee. Any time you see something outrageous like this, Google Babylon Bee and see if they had anything to do with it. You'd be surprised how many times they do.
