Well April is now with us and the darn bears are out and about..
One stopped by two nights ago and destroyed my bird feeding stations just to get a mouthful of sunflower seed and some moldy suet cakes..
And my new window mounted feeder was so amusing.. wrecked to pieces by the hungry critter..
ruined my disposition for couple days at least.. but it will soon learn to stay away as I send my great dogs out in the middle of the night..
they feel so needy when I do that, they hover at my feet for hour when the have to cope with all the wild stuff..
two near 100 lb dogs.. both turn to wimps in the night..

Load them up with powdered ghost pepper, the birds don’t notice but the bear will, and twice. Won’t work on Mexican bears.

Try Sonoran Spice Company. That's where I get mine, but if you want to go hotter than ghost pepper, try scorpion or Carolina Reaper. Carolina Reaper is the HOTTEST pepper they have, its 2 million on the Scoville Scale (how they measure pepper heat). Jalapeno is about 5,000 if that gives you any idea.

On the plus side, this seasons raider has not returned, maybe he went back to sleep for a while..
