A dose of liberal medicine.....
As Democrats grow increasingly worried that ObamaCare will explode on the launch pad just as midterm e******ns get going, the Obama administration seeks to pin blame on Republicans. Good luck with that.
Health and Human Services head Kathleen Sebelius admitted that she didn't realize how complicated getting ObamaCare off the ground would be.
So let's see if we get this. Democrats shoved an unpopular, expensive, ill-conceived and poorly written law down the country's throat with no Republican support, and without bothering to see whether states would want to take on the thankless and costly task of helping the feds implement it.
And now that many of these states are rebelling, it's the Republicans' fault?
I love this quote by Obama, "My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."
A few weeks ago I went to the doctor to have my blood drawn for a physical the following week. On my way out of the office, the nurse handed me a four page questionnaire that they wanted filled out when I returned. I took the paperwork home to fill out and guess what one of the questions asked me: do you own a firearm and is it stored safely?
Please note if you answer no to the stored safely portion of this question, the doctor will offer you advice on how to properly store you firearm.
I was pretty shocked by this and started doing some research on this topic. Here's a link to a doctor gun training file that you can download and provide to your doctor:
http://www.keepandbeararms.com/downloads/gundocform.pdf The above document is a FIREARMS SAFETY COUNSELING REPRESENTATION: PHYSICIAN QUALIFICATIONS AND LIABILITY form. You should have seen the reaction I received when I presented this to the nurse. I had four doctor's come in to talk to me concerning this document. I explained that the question is an invasion of privacy and you do not have the expertise to offer any kind of advice concerning firearms. I asked them about the liability of their advice and this is where they became extremely concerned. Please read page two of form concerning liability.
All four doctor's agreed that this question should not be on the form but this is what is being pushed down by the new healthcare law. I asked them if they consulted their firearms dealer concerning medical advice and they all said no. I said with all do respect, why would you provide firearms advice to me? They all respected my opinion, and all of them declined to fill out the paperwork I provided. I declined to answer the question and my point was made.
In my opinion, the government is documenting who has firearm's through the healthcare providers. Be careful but more importantly, be informed. Protect your privacy at all costs!
Shades of the N**I gun control laws leading to millions of deaths of innocent men, women, and children.
They are going to murder you anyway, so why not take as many of the SCUM with you as you can?

I have always wondered how long it took to write all those 2500+ pages of the Obamacare law and am wondering even more these days. They covered about everything they needed to gain complete control and I agree with you about talking to my doctor about guns in my house. I listen to her when she talks medicine to me but won't pay any attention to questions about armament at my house. They really did want to get that list of gun owners down pat, it seems.
No doctor ever gets that part filled out by me. Even after Obamacare goes into effect and doctors aren't allowed to treat someone who doesn't fill out all the questions, I won't be complying with that.
Speaking of Sebelius, do you have a present day count of pages of regulations her office has written for enforcement of Obamacare. The last count I heard was about a year ago and it stood at 15,000 pages and still writing.
Have you noticed that the liberal trolls have not made even one comment on here objecting what you wrote? It just goes to show that when they have absolutely no way of twisting the facts, the just keep quiet.
Perhaps you are correct Will. I wonder however; if their silence is due more to their desire to keep this quiet and off the burner, than to debate it.
I suggest: The louder the liberal pigs squeal the more we should enjoy our bacon!

This so-called Obama Care is something the c*******ts have been forming for decades sitting around for the BEAST to come along to force it down We the People's throats. The Kenyan does nothing continuing to v**e "present" getting his fellow travellers to carry the water.
Obama Care is Hillary Heath care reborn. C*******ts c***ted by not allowing Congressmen to actually READ the BILL.
Obama Care is Totalitarian F*****T government designed to ens***e and manage people much like a farmer does with live stock.

I'm as conservative, or maybe even more libertarian, than most folks posting here. However, I am concerned that many people with a similar political philosophy over reach when they use terms like Kenyan, Muslim and/or c*******ts. The problem with that kind of over reach is that the base message gets lost by those who can and do, rightfully, ask for clear evidence of these things. As such evidence doesn't exist, asserting these things as facts causes the person so asserting to loose credibility on all other points.
I'd say stick to some basics, easily provable and starkly apparent to cursory analysis - such things as;
Obama in particular, and progrssives in general, look to expand government beyond any point it has been in the American past.
Expanding the federal government results in confining person freedoms. Having the right to abort a child, or marry a same sex partner, are purely pablum that distorts more basic values - like the value of life itself.
With an expanded federal government, those who consider themselves progressive concurrenlty consider themselves elite - and their idea is that government should provide more to the masses, and that in return, the masses should cede more power to the elite.

GOOD POINT DAVE, ALL THE WORDS YOU SPOKE OF ARE THROWN AROUND HERE, LIKE CANDY. INCORECTLY USED MOST OF THE TIME.

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, I WANT A SINGLE PAYOR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, SIMILER TO THE ONE CANADA OR THE UK HAS.
"Expanding the federal government results in confining person freedoms. Having the right to abort a child, or marry a same sex partner, are purely pablum that distorts more basic values - like the value of life itself."
LET ME GET THIS RIGHT, YOU, A LIBERTARIAN, WANT TO RESTRICT THE RIGHT OF A WOMAN TO HAVE AN A******N, OR FOR A PERSON TO MARRY A SAME SEX PARTNER.
HOW IS THAT KEEPING THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR BUSINESS. ISN'T THAT THE BASIS OF LIBERTARIANISM?

(Should you get what you want, a single payer system, you will get a far lower quality and lower quantity of health care for all = just like the UK and Canada. Why not got to the next step, let's have a single payer food system - after all, food is more necessary than health care)

(The first thing you need to understand is that I can care less who you abort or marry. The second thing you need to understand how to read through and get the message - the elites are using these issues as a way to placate and divert attention from their more serious initiatives - control over the more important aspects of life)

If your point is the core problem is an uninformed - and therefore uncaring - e*****rate, I'd tend to agree with you.
If your point is a cynical one that suggests all politicians are exactly alike with all having a common agenda - I'd suggest your cnynicism is both wrong and not helpful to the core problem.
I am not cynical. I think that most people would actually do better
if they knew better. I do not believe everyone in any group
is just alike. I don't believe that all the people of any group are
just alike. Nor do I believe that they can't do harm, with the
best of intentions, but missing insight or needed pieces of the
puzzle. etc.
I do believe that we have SAME OLD "song and dance" routines
in place, without exploration of truly new or out side of the box
ideas and options brought to the table. I think many come to
the capitol with high ideals. But give up and join in what they
came to change.

Not sure what we need is anything new - but something tried and true - an informed e*****rate that would not allow the very thing you mention - elected folks giving up ideals and joining in on continuing the process.
