I want to wish all the posters a happy and spiritual Easter. To all the Jewish posters, I wish a happy Passover. The two holidays are completely different, but they have a common theme, SALVATION.

Won, There are some things I like about Christianity, especially their focus on love. Unfortunately, you express an attitude I just can't stand which is also part of Christianity, intolerance. Most of the great religions of the world have things in common. The most important are confirming the importance of life, and the golden rule. I am certainly am no Hindu, but I believe that they hit the nail right on the head when they proclaim that there are many paths to the mountain top.
Wolf, I am a man of faith. I was raised in a very traditional Jewish home. I went to Jewish day school for years, and my mother's family was orthodox. My family is split into Democrats and Republicans. The Republican side of the family are all big time lawyers. My cousin Jay was a partner in Ken Star's law firm, an now a King maker in Republican Party in New York. He was also an advisor to both of the Busches. My cousin Michael was the Council to OMB in the Reagan Administration. He recently retired from the Hudson Foundation as a senior fellow. My cousin Allen is married to the federal judge that took over Kavanough's seat when he was appointed to the US Supreme Court. When we all get together, we don't talk politics. I belong to the Democratic side of the family. My branch is all teachers, social workers, and federal workers. We all seem to get along very well. I have my own beliefs about religion that I came too. I really believe in Buddhism. Judaism tells me what G-d expects of me, and Buddhism tells me how to get there.
