SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — Four Walmart customers were injured in San Jose Sunday morning after a suspect crashed a vehicle into the store and started assaulting people, a San Jose police spokesman said.

Officers first responded to a report of a vehicle that drove into a Walmart store at 777 Story Road at about 11:15 a.m., Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

The driver of the vehicle immediately got out of the vehicle, picked up a blunt object from inside the store and began to physically assault customers, while screaming about their shopping in a non-union store, Dwyer said.

One victim was seriously injured and taken to a hospital, he said.

Three others victims suffered less serious injuries and were also hospitalized, Dwyer said.

The suspect was arrested by responding police officers and booked into Santa Clara County jail.

Wal-mart is the largest employer in the country, and should be unionized.

The CEO of Wal-mart, makes as much in 15 minuets, as the average employee does in a year.

Shame on wal-mart

There was a time I shopped at Target instead, until they pulled that anti Gay thing in California.

So I have gone back to Wal-Mart.

Why should Wall Mart unionize? Wall Mart started in a right to work state and have stores in every right to work state including Michigan. We all know that if Wall Mart is forced to unionize that prices will soar higher. Unions have out lived their usefullness and should just disappear. Unions all most destroyed the auto industry by demanding such high wages and benefits that cheaper imports took over. Workers may just as well be working in a c*******t country cause they have no real say over union business. You may v**e to not strike but that v**e does not count. If you can not get to the union hall to v**e the union v**es for you as they want. You have no secret b****t because someone is watching you and taking notes. If you v**e against a union such as the UAW they may use that against you in the future. The union decides what is best for you because you are to stupid to do that yourself! I could keep talking for hours on that subject as I lived it for over thirty years until I realized just what unions were all about. I have since worked for other businesses that were not union and they were run by wonderful people that made you feel good just to come to work and they paid good. I would not work for a unionized business again.

One only needs look at Detroit, Chicago, California, NYC and other such jurisdictions to see how well unions have helped the success of these jurisdictions. Even Bloomberg has complained about unions. Every single unionized area is in total disarray, broke or going there. In fact, my county is unionized and many of those employees are furious that the union throws money in favor of issues they oppose.
If you wish to use salary as one of your posting points, you might want to do so serious research on the salaries of union executives. It is out there. The problem for you may be an inability to spell which adversely effect research

It was unions that built the middle class.

A middle class that has gotten smaller, as unions have gotten smallers.

Doesn't proove anything, I know, but it is a sad comentary, to the greatest growth of wealth in history.

Now being consintrated in the 1%

Yes, it did build the middle class; however, it then became about the "union bosses" and their agenda not their members. Many of the "union bosses" incomes and benefits place them in the newer higher tax bracket for those making over $450,000. They are serving their interests ONLY!

Several years ago, our family had a care giver for a family member. She decided to relocate back to her home state. She had a choice of employment with a union or non union employer. She chose non union. She told me she had worked union and "h**ed" all the contract rules which gave no flexibility. In fact, she said her net income was higher because she did not have to pay for something which did not benefit her.

You are living in the past. Unions have NO added value for employees. Unions inhibit employers. Unions in this day and age only benefit the "union bosses"

Mein Gott, Fraulein you have pounded the union thinkers over the head and they can't understand. I wonder why the bosses manage to keep these people from realizing what they are doing to us.

I keep wondering why our government is trying so hard to k**l the small businesses that contributed a lot more to our middle class than any unions ever did. Is it because they think they can win more v**es from the fools who accept union boss teachings?

I see that you just can't see that small businesses have contributed more to that middle class than unions have. Yes, unions have come up with high wages for their leaders and that puts them in the top tax paying class and none of them do anything to help the businesses they are causing to go broke.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could see something that wasn't socialist and union organized? Yep, it would be nice but you can't allow yourself to look.

I feel we can categorize people into basic groups. I am not including groups within groups, or groups within sub groups, etc. With this post I start the list and you may find yourself here. If not, relax I will get to you soon.

The Dolt: IQ <80 aka "Yellow dog Democrat" Famous saying: "My daddy was a Democrat, so was my Granddad and his before him. I have always and will continue to v**e for Democrats (even if it is a yellow dog) Since down deep I know I will never succeed at anything on my own, I will always support the leaders who will make sure I enjoy the American Dream - be it a politician or a union leader. I know this is true, because my teacher told me so. Besides they promised to make my rent payments for me, and provide me with a free cell phone.

You can spot me driving down the road because it is covered with political stickers promoting every nonsensical idea and every Democrat who has ever ran for president.

Ignore the blue smoke and the yellow dog riding in my lap while I drive past you.

The radicalized student: IQ < 110. Famous saying "I am part of the 99 percent"...

You can easily spot this i***t because he will be found defecating on the fender of a police vehicle. Throwing rocks through the windows of small businesses, Holding aloft a "c*******t red" poster or f**g, while marching alongside his band of i***ts while exercising their first amendment rights to assemble and show themselves to be the blithering i***ts they are.

Unfortunately their antics will not help them accomplish much in the world other than to receive the accolades of their liberal art professors, who ordered them out of their mothers basement, to stink up the town with their body odor and foul mouths.

Poor things.

And exactly how did the unions "build" the middle class? By reducing profits for the entrepreneur? By forcing other citizens to pay more for the same quality of product that was made before the union secured representation at a factory? By shutting down production and forcing the closing of companies with a long history of providing employment?

Yeah, I can see how the unions really "built" the middle class.

My father was a union guy for years, through strikes, through shift changes, through assessments. Then he got laid off, not because of his work quality or quantity, but simply because he was the most junior man in his department -- after all he ONLY had 22 years seniority.

He went to work within a few months at a non-union firm, got a huge increase in salary and benefits, and was able to move the family into a much nicer home which certainly made my mother happier. So again, tell me again all about how unions "built" the middle class.

The selfish wimp: IQ < 130 Famous for telling others to give their money to the poor.

You can easily spot this self-centered, wanna feel good twerp because they will promote the idea of giving money to someone else who they hope will take care of the needy somewhere or the other. Never understanding the idea that perhaps they should get out of their comfort zone, off their arses and go help someone directly. Not for just one day where their photo will appear in the newspaper or where they will be seen socializing with others who can help them up their ladder.

No, these dolts do not want to get their hands dirty supporting or taking care of the needy they want you to help. They just want to give a few dollars to someone else and make themselves feel better in the process.

Definitely not Mother Teressa, more like the typical liberal twits.

For they are the real "Poor and Pathetic" among us.

The real American: IQ => 130: Famous for doing what needs to be done, not necessarily the easy or safest way.

You can spot these folks because they are the risk takers and hero makers.

They are your local small business owner who works seventy hours a week so they can support their family, provide employment and help others, contribute to this capitalist country, and tithe to their church.

They are also the brave of heart who put on a military uniform and obligate themselves to protect our country so you can sleep soundly under your covers tonight. They give up their personal freedoms and perhaps their very existence and march to the sound of guns.

There are many others. Many who you see daily or know personally. The brave ones you want to see standing at your front door in the middle of the night, when you dial 911. The same person you curse when they issue you a traffic citation, and the person you make fun of with slanderous statements. They are the ones who always run to the sound of gunfire, traffic accidents or fire alarms. They do not run inside their home and lock their door behind themselves, while crying for someone to do something quick.

You will find them taking care of the sick or defending the "supposed innocent." Many times "pro-bono" as their contribution to a civic duty.

Yes! They are the risk-takers. They are the real glue which holds society together, for they are the True Americans.

They are scorned and h**ed by lesser people who are the self-centered and self-serving morons, who themselves are without honor or p***e. Are they you?

Our best hope: IQ => 150. Famous saying. "Yes I can !"

These are our p***e. People who were willing to put aside their immediate desires and needs so they could learn a vocation where they could contribute to America, make a good living while doing what they feel good about.

Who are these wonderful people. They are the doctors, lawyers, architects, scientist, (you can name them) who quietly produce goods and services every day.

Sure they get paid good for their contributions. This is not the old USSR where a doctor had to live at home with their parents because the state did not pay them enough rubles to live. This is America where we offer opportunity for our best.

Now you know why the lesser among us h**e and disparage the best of us. They do so out of pure jealousy because they recognize their own limitations, self-failures, and feel the need to elevate themselves by pulling down their betters.

You can read or hear their words on this board and other public news, and watch them on television. For they are all but worthless.
