The IRS scandal is ONE reason we distrust government. Another reason is that lying seems to always trump t***h when an Adminstration person opens his mouth. Another reason is the Administration's insane rush to total devastation. Another reason is no elected official listening to the public and what it wants and does not want, such as the bulled through Obamacare monstrosity, such as the "president" detouring Congress and passing EOs to have what the congress and the people didn't want him to have. Another reason is why Americans are being publicly dissed while homage is paid to i*****l a***ns, who are criminals before anything else. Americans also distrust a government that cannot legislate in a sane and careful manner, that will not stop wasting our hard earned money - not for necessities, but for the sole purpose of purchasing v**es and buying favors.
In a nutshell, we distrust government because, possibly for the first time, we are seeing how inhuman it is, how uncaring it is, how self-centered and narcissistic it is, how vile and crass it is. I would ask what reasons should we trust it?
