Pregnancy occurs due to sexual intercourse between a male and a female. That action was either voluntary or not. If it wasn’t, it was rape. If it was voluntary, then the pregnancy was a logical possible consequence of that sexual act.

The chances of a pregnancy resulting from a single sexual act involving a woman of child bearing age are about one in twelve, about half that of putting a single bullet into six-shooter, spinning the barrel, pulling the trigger and the bullet firing. If you do that and aim the weapon at someone, you are responsible for the result.

Another analogy is getting into the driver’s seat while drunk and driving off. If you get into an accident, you can’t claim that you should have your choice to exercise your right to drive. Try to do to it in court and see how far it gets you.

This is precisely analogous to calling a right to abort the pregnancy the woman’s right. She and her partner exercised their rights and are responsible for the result.

Does that explain things? Just try to prove I’m wrong, using scientific facts.

Pregnancy occurs due to sexual intercourse between... (show quote)

So, a pregnancy that is a result of rape or incest must be carried to term? That's punishing the victim twice.

You can’t be proven wrong because you’re right. And any a******n is wrong except where the mother’s life is endangered or she’s been raped. In the case of rape, there is a morning after pill. Conclusion, even in the case of rape, a******n isn’t always the answer.

You are not wrong, you just refuse to address all the factors involved.. as always..

The major one may well be the social pressure for the woman to put out..

Then the many less usual items like the protection failing.. long list..

But in the end it is not any right of mine to tell anyone else how they must live their life..

Nor is it a right of anyone, including you..

And what scientific facts are you presenting that would make pro-life anything but religious interference in woman’s life. I believe that science would back up the assertion that and unwanted child is detrimental to woman’s wellbeing

Ridiculous. The victim is not being punished. She is suffering the undeserved consequences of an act of violence. Sad beyond description. I mourn for the pain it causes her. But whether it was her choice or not, she is the custodian of another living being for more or less nine months. Society should and does offer help in the situation. A******n is the murder of a human child. Or are you a science denier as well as a moral illiterate?

My dear friend Carol, I rarely disagree with you. But here I must. A chemically induced a******n is STILL an a******n, and is murdering an innocent child. As horrible as the situation may be, nothing justifies the act of murder.

My friend, there is no moral difference in a******n and k*****g your 6 month old sick child for crying too much. Both can be argued that I am trying to tell someone how they must live their life. You know this, or you should.

Abgortion is the answer if someone decides they do not want a baby...Period, end of discussion. You are free to believe wh**ever you want, but not to commit violence on a******n clinics.

Pregnancy by rape is extremely rare. Liberals want a******n for any reason. All the rest is just a smokescreen to cover that.

But yet you feel it is your right to let others take the life of another
