Because of what the right has allowed him to get away with, he's proven to us that he is above the law, if he had been impeached that would've proven otherwise and would be a deterrent for others that follow, that is no longer the case, just the reverse, Trump has now showed them how to do it, so unless we make some amendments this will undoubtedly happen again, probably with the next republican president.
