Army, no one has said it is a law,, the republicans wanted the act as a law but settled for recomendation and thus we have the tradition(?) in which every candidate except trump has released one or many years of tax records.

In trumps case, he promised a number of time to release his tax records but when the time comes , he refuses..

I see it as refusal to reveal he is not as rich as he claims..

In this case, the tax records will not be made public.. they are only released to the grand jury for inspection. will we see them later? Not if trump can stop it..

Amazing he is so afraid.. also, in this case, as always, it takes a court order to obtain personal papers. as in a warrant.. it is not a whim, by any means.. But I wish it were a law for Pres candidates to release such records. that may well have saved the country from the trump times of woe..
