It is interesting that anyone can pimp such nonsense, thriving socialist democracies exist around the world. The Scandinavian nations and New Zealand are great examples. Free top notch public education and universal health care lead to a well educated healthy population that in turn run successful businesses and industry or work in either the public or private sector. All of these places have longer life expectancy a healthier better educated population than we do, and poverty is nearly inexistent while one of every five children in the US go’s hungry. They are also far less corrupt in general than the US.

Perhaps your 'socialist utopia' leaning are a bit skewed? As your mentor and teacher, I do recommend you do some research...

Rising support for socialism in the United States comes at a time when politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., promise a great many “free” services, to be provided or guaranteed by the government.

"Supporters often point to nations with large social programs, such as Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Scandinavian states, particularly when it comes to health care.

Never mind that these are not true socialist countries, but highly taxed market economies with large welfare states. That aside, they do offer a government-guaranteed health service that many in America wish to emulate.

The problem for their argument is that, despite these extremely generous programs, some of these countries are seeing steady a growth of private health insurance."

Americans think that Socialism is wonderful because everything would be free, but the men in Norway are drunks because females marry the state instead of males.

What will Norway do when Norway runs out of oil and Norway is overrun by Muslims?

In Socialist states, no one takes care of property because the government owns everything.

In Socialist states, no one works hard because hard work is punished with taxes.

In Socialist states, you must pay bribes to do anything because everything is illegal.

In Socialist states, there are no morals because there are no churches.
