On Sunday, February 14, the third anniversary of the shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, President Biden "urged" Congress to further restrict firearms in America: "I am calling on Congress to enact commonsense gun law reforms, including requiring background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and eliminating immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets."
"Weapons of war" is merely another code phrase dumped on the American psyche by our government overlords, and a rich joke considering the massive cache of military weapons supplied by all recent presidents to local police forces around the country.
No, the current administration, and those before it, is not c*******t, in name at least. They are nevertheless revealed to be tyrants because of their official policy of bearing arms in every imaginable capacity against people who are ostensibly, again in name only, their fellow citizens.
The perpetrator of the Parkland shootings, Nikolas Cruz, was well known to those same law enforcement entities (they received no fewer than 59 calls regarding him). He is possibly autistic, had emotional problems and mental difficulties, was surely suffering from depression and reports say he was on or had been on some type of medication for it. He should have been better treated and not simply drugged, but talking about this doesn't support the gun grabbers' agenda, so it is memory-holed.
Oh yes, war is indeed being made on Americans, but not by random "shooters" or "weapons of war." These troubled people are more often driven by prescription drugs and never guns, which are always the object of blame instead of the pharmaceutical companies, the "authorities" who pass the buck with troubled individuals, and the individuals themselves.
Who needs guns?
Can you imagine the early American pioneers starting out across the country without their guns? The west would never have been settled.
The German people had nothing to fear from the SS until the propaganda of the Third Reich prepared their minds for so-called National Socialism. When they "bought" National Socialism, they also accepted the SS and suppression of human liberty. In other words, psychological warfare conquered the Germans before the N**i SS and their eventual military defeat. This is the order of events to keep in mind.
Authoritarianism or criminal government can never feel secure from fear as long as millions of people own guns. Likewise, when the people have no arms, they have no security and no hope of security.
After all, why would an individual ever "need" a firearm? This is the question that government and its media watchdogs want you to ask yourself. Their answer is that there is no reason. The free man, the thinking man, has a different answer.

The average police response time in America is 11 minutes, and it can take as long as 1 to 24 hours if they respond at all.
According to the National Sheriff's Association the average response time is longer, at 18 minutes.

Due to its nature figures on defensive gun use are hard to nail down. Typically when a firearm is used defensively no one is hurt and rarely is anyone k**led. Often times simply showing you are armed is enough to end a crime in progress.

The oppressors always assault us first with words that lead to disarmament of the mass mind into a state of apathy, resembling deep sleep. Change agents cleverly t***sferred the word Republic into democracy for the purpose of the numbing of the senses.
Above all, be perceptive in your vetting of the words you see and hear.
Passive words like "weapons of war" and "democracy" disarm the mind, and then it is only a matter of time before you volunteer to hand over your guns.
"To keep and bear arms" is the opposite of democracy, which is merely a euphemism for despotic government.

When I was living on the farm I dealt with the deputy sheriffs on issues of trespassers, an attempted break in, etc. It came up that we did have firearms and the deputies said to take precautions to protect ourselves. Depending on where in their patrol district they were located when a call comes in, it could take them 20 minutes with lights and sirens to reach us. This was in a smaller (geographically), but largest (by population) county in the state. That county also had the largest sheriff department in the state. We took our security seriously.

Every year, 400,000 life-threatening violent crimes are prevented using firearms.

Felons report that they avoid entering houses where people are at home because they fear being shot.
Fewer than 1 percent of firearms are used in the commission of a crime.
If you doubt the objectivity of the site above, it’s worth pointing out that the Center for Disease Control, in a report ordered by President Obama in 2012 following the Sandy Hook Massacre, estimated that the number of crimes prevented by guns could be even higher—as many as 3 million annually, or some 8,200 every day.
