I'm sorry pr I know how hard it is to loose ones mother but you were blessed to have had her as long as you did and that she had a peaceful passing.I want to share something I found years ago and have kept to remind me that we need to appreciate the people in our live because we don't know what number they hold in Gods book..................THE TRAIN--At birth we boarded the train and met our parents and we believed they would always travel at our side. However at some station our parents will step down from the train leaving us on this journey alone. As time goes by other people will board the train and they will be significant -our siblings,friends,children and even the love of your life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum others will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy,sorrow,fantasy,expectations,hello's,goodbyes and farewells. Success consists of a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is we do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So we must live in the best way Love,forgive and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this so when we step down we are remembered with love and affection,joy and remembrance of a life lived fully. In my family we celebrate the life not the death we have a big dinner for friends and family to tell about the best memories to laugh and cry. I hope you and yours find comfort in your memories of a life lived well when you need her she will be there with all the things she taught you over the years

Nothing can prepare us for the loss we feel when a parent dies. I am so sorry you have to go through this now after you've been so sick, PR. I am terribly sorry.

I feel I must say this to you....please take care of yourself through this. Grief can take a big toll on your physical health, and you've been through a lot lately. Make sure you eat enough and try to get some sleep. It's hard to do, but important.

Not C***d! She had stroke and got over it!! But the day I went to the hospital she broke her arm and hip and ever since than she was not the same....And last week of her life she started wasting away by refusing to eat and getting up! She lost a lot of weight and was getting weaker and yesterday morning,she just gave up!!!!! I miss her so much!! I wasn't there when she died and it makes it even more painful!

hips seem to be the worst, my grandma did that, fixed the hip and she fell and broke the other one and her arm, I was right there during both. We called it the hip from hell, she was a pain in the butt to care for for weeks each time.
