On an aside, my wife and I will listen to a couple of Emmylou albums at a time while we are shooting pool before dinner. I sell extreme power cables and speaker cables that I make, think $10k to $20k power cords and speaker cables, I have to have a system that can let me hear the differences in the terminations and wires as I listen for the best synergies. Emmylou Harris has some of the finest audiophile grade recordings on the planet, courtesy of Daniel Lanois who also did Willie Nelson, U2, and his own stuff. The recording quality makes her songs sound truly staggering on a well cabled $150k system. A common comment from people is that songs they are familiar with sound so staggering they almost don't even sound like the same songs.

The theme seems to be strong women singers!

The first time I heard this singer was many years ago when a very popular Texas disk jockey, Bill Mack of WBAP in Ft. Worth, introduced her as the next Patsy Cline when she was only 13 years old! She won The Masked Singer with this song! I found it a little unbelievable that the four panelists didn’t recognize her voice!🤷🏻‍♀️
