Just like banks have their cameras pointing in the wrong directions (it's the bankers stealing our money), the demorats would have the machine guns pointing outward instead of on themselves. The dems need to be eradicated for their criminal activity against the USA.
Who would have thought a 4 word comment would arouse such a cacaphony of hysterical whinnying.
Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell et al had just been briefed on the threat level to the Inauguration based on a Security Analysis of the storming of the Capitol. The different groups who were represented in the r****rs included several w***e s*******y entities, the Klan, and various M*****as. Many of these groups have a stated intention to o*******w the legitimate government of the USA in their published manifesto. For years this crank nonsense was just muted bluster but in the assault on the Capitol, various firearms, pipe bombs and munitions were deployed. This was a serious escalation as some individuals, caught up in the prevailing lynch mob mentality and egged on by a rogue President tried to act-out their violent fantasies. There are multiple reports of some of these groups in possession of machine guns, rocket launchers, hand grenades and even home made flame throwers. Everybody has seen the iconic photo of the plainclothed C*****l P****emen with their pistols pointed at a barricaded door with shattered glass framing angry faces of hostiles screaming threats as they try to batter the door in. Its never a good thing to see a life lost but that woman was the agent of her own demise. It’s a miracle that more people weren’t shot but that’s due to Police restraint and good luck on the part of some r****rs.
Sorry, but if I’m legitimately occupying a room as part of my job and someone is outside making terroristic threats as they batter the door in, and I am armed, then I will overcome my innate reluctance to take someones life, and shoot. I find it doubtful any of you would think differently.
Ken Kuchinelli was interviewed on Fox about the request for Guard protection. Kuchinelli, who clearly has a brain, if a reduced capacity to use it, went on a partisan fueled rant about how the life of a Congressman was not more valuable than the life of any American citizen, which in a narrow sense is correct. He missed the point however that Congressmen & women, Senators, Cabinet
Members, chiefs of Staff etc. on up to the President and VP are vital parts of the cloth of our democratic Republic. An assault on any of them is an assault on all of us and the stability of our lives. If you really hanker to live in a Banana Republic move to Honduras and live every day in fear.
Tha comparison between the earlier r**ts in Oregon and other places is specious. If r****rs anywhere break the law and destroy property and harm others then obviously the law should be applied with vigor.
I would note however that those r**ts grew out of protests against Police brutality.
The r**t and i**********n at the Capitol was an attempt to o*******w the legitimate government of the USA.
To return to my original comment. If Pelosi requested what in her mind constituted a viable counter to the potential of another attack at the inauguration by crazed individuals with machine guns, rocket launchers, grenades and flamethrowers then I hope she did. No doubt military experts would have refined that request within the framework of field-of fire and other issues pertaining to machine gun use but the core of her request, if indeed the reporting was accurate, was appropriate for the circumstance.
