The mob k**led one C*****l P****e officer. Maybe his family should just ignore that; after all, aren't people entitled to believe differently than they do? Sarcasm intended here.

The mob threatened hundreds of congresspeople. That's our Congress they were threatening. The mob threatened our very government. Our entire nation could have collapsed. People in the mob, inside the Capitol building, were looking for congresspeople. If they had caught even one, we might be in a hostage situation right now, or possibly a situation involving a dead congressperson -- even if not deliberately -- all it would take would be one drunkard with a gun in that mob.

As it was, they appear to have been mostly-chemically-sober but malicious and k**led one person by throwing a fire extinguisher, then jeopardized national security in as many ways as they could manage to do. (begin sarcasm) Oh well, they don't believe like we do, so we are supposed to tolerate those things (end sarcasm): No! Wake up; there were extraordinary physical things going on there, and they have to be addressed, not just tolerated. You thought we wouldn't know that; you thought we were just fools, because we "tolerate" some things.

You characterize a "party of tolerance", as though if it tolerates some things, then it should tolerate all things.

The r**t happened in large part because of a belief that the e******n was s****n. After _recounts_, _audit(s)_, and _dozens_ of _failed_ Trump _lawsuits_, even the Supreme Court, even stacked with Trump-nominated appointees, didn't find Trump's case about the e******n worth much. But a lot of Republican officials (including Trump) _continued_ to fan the flames of falsehood, logically leading to the i**********n on J*** 6. In that way, those Republican officials acted so irresponsibly that they should resign. People who act like that don't belong in those positions in our government. They have disrespected both Congress and the Judicial Branch. That leaves one of our three branches of government that they might respect: The Executive Branch. But Trump doesn't even follow the advice of his own Administration and disrespects _them_.

So what kind of government does that mob and those Republican officials respect? They respect a Dictatorship. And they're willing to o*******w our Government so they can have a Dictatorship instead.

Ah, well, but they're not _socialists_. Sarcasm intended here.
The mob k**led one C*****l P****e officer. Maybe ... (show quote)

Why are you so upset about one police officer? I thought you wanted to defund the police. Maybe you should have and then he would not have been there and you could say you saved his life. You would be a HERO.
The mob last summer that was attacking government buildings was mostly calm I guess. Didn’t the governor of the state complain because government police chased the mostly nice r****rs far away from the buildings so the governor complained they were no threat that far away. Don’t remember a lot of the r****rs being caught because of the state governor wanting the FEDS to stop chasing mostly peaceful r****rs.
Correct me if I am in error but I do seem to recall that last summer there was a mob of non-maga people pounding on the doors of congressmen and congresswomen. Of course they were not there to create a problem but merely to air grievances. And of course that was their calm way of showing their peaceful intentions.
Explain to me why in 1861 Lincoln called 11,000 Federal Troops to defend the Capitol while in 2021 the heroic Democrats called 25,000 troops to defend the Capitol. Lincoln had a REAL INSURECTION happening while the Dems today had a maybe or maybe not r**t.
Explain to me why after the installation was over the TROOPS guarding the area were moved into parking garages in less than 40 degree weather from the building with warmth they had just been protecting. Once again Dems have disrespected our TROOPS. Eventually the TROOPS were moved to better locations but the expulsion from buildings to inclement weather outside was unjustified and cruel treatment of men and women who were there to make a peaceful t***sition even calmer.

They traveled from 16 different states, arriving for the “Stop the Steal” demonstration on the White House Ellipse, where they watched President Donald Trump tell incendiary lies about having been robbed of ree******n. He then told the crowd of thousands to march on the Capitol.

In the crowd that day were 13 members of state Houses or Assemblies; three state senators; a county commissioner; a city council member; a GOP congressional district chair; a district director; and a co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party. The group also includes a Q***n conspiracy theorist; a self-described member of a f*****t m*****a; and a man who once declared that “the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”

Only two of those GOP officials appear to have breached the Capitol property itself that day, and have since been arrested, but the prevalence of Republican legislators and party functionaries at the demonstration underscores the party’s rank complicity in fomenting a historic i**********n.

These GOP officials, after all, were taking part in, and lending credence to, the finale of a monthslong campaign to falsely discredit the results of a f**r e******n. All were eager participants in a nakedly anti-democratic ploy to keep their preferred president in power, and helped whip a f*****t mob into a frenzy.

All are now facing calls to resign, but only one has done so. And although most have since condemned the violence, vandalism, and l**ting at the Capitol — which led to the deaths of five people — many have sought to deflect blame. Of the 21 GOP officials in HuffPost’s tally, at least 13 have made statements attempting to blame the violence on “a****a” or “paid provocateurs.”

The FBI says there is no evidence “a****a” orchestrated that day’s chaos. There is a mountain of evidence, however, showing the violence was committed by a Make America Great Again mob.

Here are the names of the state and local GOP officials that were part of that mob. (This list does not include the federal lawmakers in attendance.)

And who had the responsibility of making sure there was enough security to cover what both sides KNEW would be a massive protest? that would be the speaker of the house...and who is that? com on now....I can't hear you.....that's right! Nancy Pelosi has responsibility for the C*****l P****e. Adam Schiff, as chairman of The Preferred Committee on Intelligence, had the very same information that Trump had and if he had it, she had it. So, why did Nancy do nothing? I'll tell you, she WANTED a r**t to blame on Trump...which she did and people bought it. She wants Trump destroyed and erased as quickly as possible...wants it so that he can't even do business after the WH. Why? Because sooner or later, Trump would hit up on the one piece of evidence that the e******n was a fraud that would be impossible to explain away.
How could Nancy prevent this? By making Trump unbelieveable, by demanding every congressman who stood with Trump to resign, by making it illegal to question the e******n. If the e******n was won fairly, then none of that would have been necessary. Who is the REAL EOP?

Your crybaby boy Upchuck Schumer said, "Trump is inciting an ERECTION". We know what Chuck boy was thinking about. What Chucky boy also stated was that, "the Demorat party was inciting deflated erections."

WHAT happened to the democratic view of " mostly peaceful protesters" assigned to the democratic mobs of the spring and summer 2020? so if a conservative is in the vicinity of some kind of mom (57) violence, it makes everybody guilty. This is why I left the party, its a bunch of lies to support the swamp.

I'll start with just your first two sentences.

The way that one police officer was hurt and died is an example. It illustrates the danger of the mob. There were also people in the mob, in the capitol building, either joking about h*****g Pence or seriously intending to do so (we cannot always know what's going to turn out as a mere joke and what's going to be a murder, but we can illustrate the risk by how the one officer died). I didn't go into all the details about how they were looking for, for example, Nancy Pelosi and so on. A lot of it was a reflection of the way Trump talks about the people.

"I thought you wanted to defund the police." You are generalizing too broadly. Also, when you say "I thought you wanted to defund the police" you are not close to the topic at hand.

Anyway, since you brought it up: "Defund the police" is what some people are saying, but I'm not one of them. "Defund the police" is a handy slogan and conveys a sense of outrage (and I agree that outrage is appropriate), but a lot of us think that to say "defund the police" is over-simplistic and maybe even irresponsible. We (including me) think there should be a _change_ to how police work, probably including a change to details of funding. Police misconduct is a serious matter but "defund the police" is probably too blunt a response to it.

When you say, "Why are you so upset about one police officer? I thought you wanted to defund the police." it looks like you're missing the point (probably deliberately pretending to miss the point), and it looks like you're trivializing a serious matter. It gives the impression that your response probably shouldn't be taken seriously.

Didn't say a word about defund the police. My family is full of military and 2 police officers. My point is where were the democratic cries over the summer when cops were being driven from their own precinct which the mob destroyed. How bout the 2 cops shot dead, their. Crime, sitting in their car? In 2011 when dems took over Senate offices for 2 weeks, how about when Maxine was calling for conservatives to be driven from restaurants, parking lots super markets and told "you're not welcome here". I could go on and on, there are so many examples including invading senate offices during Kavanagh hearing. Attacking people in their cars " because they want to get by". I have to stop or this will turn into a book.

Don’t think several hundred unarmed goof balls could o*******w our government. Do you really believe they could? It’s extremely serious that a law enforcement officer died. The ones responsible are being brought to justice.
Nope never said to tolerate all things. Don’t put words in my mouth.
The cases you say were unsuccessful, were not really unsuccessful, they weren’t even allowed to show the evidence that they had. Maybe do a little research

All FABRICATED LIES to mislead the people. That is the c*******t-democrats expertise. Since 2016, they've mastered the lying, fabricating, and inventing crimes to accuse the opposite party. This is how they live.

But this will not last long. These invaders, and t*****rs, will have their days when they'll be turned upside-down.
