Sunrise to Hold Rallies Demanding "No Compromise, No Excuses" to Top Democratic Leaders
WASHINGTON - On Saturday, the Sunrise Movement will rally to call on the top two Democrats in the Senate, incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY-D) and Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (IL-D) to embrace a bold agenda in the upcoming Congress.

These rallies are intended to push leaders to enact the Sunrise Movement’s current legislative priorities in an effort to enact: 1) Direct relief for the American people, not to corporate CEOs or f****l f**l polluters; 2) Economic recovery that creates millions of good jobs, halts the climate crisis, and reverses systemic ine******y by ensuring racial and economic justice; 3) End to minority rule and the beginning of a multiracial democracy that works for all of us through true democratic reform.
