In the days leading up to and following the 2020 p**********l e******n on Nov. 3, 2020, U.S. President Donald Trump and conservative media outlets such as Newsmax and American Thinker repeatedly spread false statements claiming that the the e******n had been stolen via v***r f***d. One of the most repeated (and repeatedly debunked) claims was that the company D******n V****g Systems had used its software to rig the e******n.

We have published several articles debunking these claims. Other news outlets and e******n officials have also thoroughly investigated and debunked claims that D******n had engaged in fraudulent activity to rig the e******n. But you don’t have to take our word for it. On Jan. 15, 2021, the conservative website American Thinker published a statement admitting that it had published false statements about v***r f***d.

The American Thinker wrote:

American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on www.AmericanThinker.com that falsely accuse US D******n Inc., D******n V****g Systems, Inc., and D******n V****g Systems Corporation (collectively “D******n”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 e******n from Donald Trump. These pieces rely on discredited sources who have peddled debunked theories about D******n’s supposed ties to Venezuela, fraud on D******n’s machines that resulted in massive v**e switching or weighted v**es, and other claims falsely stating that there is credible evidence that D******n acted fraudulently.

These statements are completely false and have no basis in fact. Industry experts and public officials alike have confirmed that D******n conducted itself appropriately and that there is simply no evidence to support these claims.

It was wrong for us to publish these false statements. We apologize to D******n for all of the harm this caused them and their employees. We also apologize to our readers for abandoning 9 journalistic principles and misrepresenting D******n’s track record and its limited role in tabulating v**es for the November 2020 e******n. We regret this grave error.
American Thinker is the latest organization to issue a statement admitting that its coverage of the 2020 e******n involved a number of false statements related to v***r f***d.

In December 2020, D******n V****g Systems threatened to file lawsuits against news outlets that had spread false rumors about the company. Shortly thereafter, Newsmax published an article to clarify statements about D******n and Smartmatic, another v****g software company engulfed in false v**er-fraud rumors.

Here’s an excerpt from the statement published by Newsmax:

There are several facts our viewers and readers should be aware. Newsmax has found no evidence either D******n or Smartmatic owns the other, or has any business association with each other.

We have no evidence D******n uses Smartmatic’s software or vice versa.

No evidence has been offered that D******n or Smartmatic used software or reprogrammed software that manipulated v**es in the 2020 e******n.

Smartmatic has stated its software was only used in the 2020 e******n in Los Angeles, and was not used in any battleground state contested by the Trump campaign and Newsmax has no evidence to the contrary.

D******n has stated its company has no ownership relationship with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s family, Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s family, the Clinton family, Hugo Chavez, or the government of Venezuela.

Neither D******n nor Smartmatic has any relationship with George Soros.

The left sent their lawyers to see them, and they folded under pressure. Understandable really, a lot of good people may have lost their jobs. They might anyway once Biden/Harris steal the White House. Less than 24 hours and will know one way or the other. You do know, I hope, most all military people, in most nations, take an oath to protect their nation and it's people, not the leader, they, come and go.
