My bet, his next business venture will be owning a news outlet. His real estate will remain in the hands of his kids but he will still be involved in major decisions (behind the curtain). I do not underestimate Don Jr or his sister, we have not seen the end of either. They have tasted the power and I don't see them walking away. One or the other will run for office in the next e******n.... 2022.

Have a great evening!

Sam, you make some interesting points. With the Senate not doing anything until after the democrats take control, there almost certainly will be investigations. The final chapter in Trump's story has yet to be written. Many more facts about the events of last week will be coming out revealing Trump's true position in the sequence of events. Eventually, many of his 74 million v**ers will learn trump lied about the resulted of the e******n. A new younger Republican star will arise and hopefully lead the Republicans back on a better path. I doubt it will be Don Jr. The father, would never have been elected if a better candidate other than Hillary had run against him. Trump had a chance to be a really great President but he lacks a moral compass to steer him in the right direction. His willingness to let those in Congress suffer (even the vice president) at the hands of an angry mob are just one example that prove his unfitness for office. Refusing to fly the f**g at the white house at half mast in honor of the fallen c*****l p****eman & his denunciation of those supporters that broke into the Capital after praising them and calling them beautiful people are more examples. Hopefully, this country has suffered enough of the trumps and we can are through with them. As far as starting a new network, he be embarking on a fools folly if he does that.

As usual, you're wrong. He's not convicted yet. Negates your statement! Mike

Not true! He has to be tried by the Senate, found guilty, for that to be the case and the Senate can only convict a sitting President not one who has left office. Get yourself a copy of the Constitution, read it and then speak. Mike

Please, your ignorance is scary,
...never running for office
...never being able to get government contracts (expensive for him)
...investigations done right with full FBI and DOJ assistance
...no executive privilege
...no campaign fundraising
...endless IRS audits
...facing charges for s******n, inciting violence, obstruction

Again DA, he has to be convicted by the SENATE and they can't do that unless he's an incumbent President. Mike

I was answering her question which was, "why would they want to impeach him after he is already out of office?".

What you say about the Senate being able to only convict a sitting president is simply not true. In fact, you are the first person I've heard say that. If what you say were true, you'd think that out of the 535 lawmakers on Capitol Hill, one of them would have said so by now. Not a single one has. Perhaps it is you who needs a copy of The Constitution?
