Biden has not taken part in this impeachment. He has no power to do so before his inauguration. This POTUS has committed s******n. He called for his supporters to come to D.C. to protest the e******n in which he was defeated for the Presidency. Sixty two courts have dismissed his charge that the the President was c***ted from winning the e******n by some kind of fraud. The federal judges were both Democratic and Republican. Two of the cases made it to the Supreme Court. The conservative Supreme Court, including the three Justices that were all appointed by Trump all threw it out of court. All the e******n results were checked out by state e******n officials, both Democrats and Republican certified the results, some Republican state officials were pressured or threatened by Trump to overturn the e******n. All of the state e******n officials certified the e******n results. Trump called for his supporters to come to D.C. to protest the fraud( there was no proof of any fraud). Once there, he asked the people assembled to march to the Capitol building. He told them he would march with them to the Capitol,( which he didn't).He told them to fight like hell. Rudy actually used the word" combat" . Once there, his followers, including many so called " m*****a " invaded the Capitol. One policeman was murdered by the crowd. Offices were entered and both personal, and government property was stolen, or destroyed. The House members were nearly discovered by the mob. It was only through the tremendous courage of one policeman that saved the Congressmen, and women from violence. How is this not a betrayal of his oath to defend the constitution, people, and democracy ? How is this not s******n? This President never called off the protest while the invasion of the Capitol was in progress. Many people present said that the POTUS took pleasure in the attack. It seems to me that this President must be impeached, and thrown out of office for his crimes before the country can move on. This would show that the rich and powerful must obey the same laws as the rest of us. It is above all simple justice,

The impeachment isn't making any difference to the division between us. It's not changing anyone's minds about anything and the deplorables are already in a temper tantrum anyway. Pelosi is doing the right thing. The second impeachment is needed to preserve the integrity of our democracy just like the first one was.

If a president is allowed to violate the constitution by bribing foreign dignitaries for personal gain or by encouraging s******n without any consequence, the democracy AND the constitution will lose its integrity.

This might be hard for anyone involved in a cult of personality to understand but this really isn't about Trump. If all we wanted to do is punish Donny, the work has already been done - we v**ed him out and there's a host of lawsuits waiting for him outside. His entire business network is ditching him and there's a good chance he will lose everything including his gold-digging wife - there's even a significant chance he will go to prison. And just so you know - he did it to himself.

The impeachment is about the future of our republic. We want future presidents to know that if they violate the terms of their office they WILL be impeached. We can't make an exception for Trump simply because 38% of the American people for some reason still think he's a swell guy.
