Cool.... I've got a few friends from Chicago... None want to return

Actually, I have always loved Chicago. Dad and I drove up each year when the Yankees played the White Sox. After I was married, we would go to Chicago a few times a year and eat at George Diamond's Steak House and stay in a downtown hotel with the kids. Lots to do in Chi-town. I liked the tall buildings and walking down Rush St. I didn't know about all the danger up there until I got older. Maybe living there would have been different.

You're right about that, however, we were in some questionable places near the old Comiskey Park, but it was never after dark. If you go looking for it, you can find trouble in most cities.

I have a photo almost exactly like that one that I took off my back deck when I lived in Indiana. Only a hundred miles from Chicago. Now I live in Michigan and we see it here too. When you live in a place as beautiful as Colorado, where do you go for vacations?

Hawaii.~~~ 😁

Seriously, as you point out Colorado is so beautiful there is not a turn you can make in the state that you don’t see something so captivating it requires you to pull over and take a picture. I keep my camera with me all the time and see such amazing things you know God is speaking.

Believe it or not I used to drive over to Indiana frequently With my girlfriend so she could fill up her car with gas and buy three cartons of cigarettes. Gas in cook county at the time was $5.05 per gallon and one pack of cigarettes was $8.94 up to $10 a carton of cigarettes was $145 whereas in Indiana she could get a carton for $55 sometimes $45 and gas at 2. Something a gallon..

When I lived in Chicago I went to Michigan frequently. You have some rather beautiful land there as well including the UP and Mackinac Island as well. Spent many a weekend over there tasting some of the best fudge I’ve ever had! I used to collect agates on the beach, literally got so involved and I bought it polisher to tumble the rocks until the agates shine like you buy in the store. I had so much fun doing that and I do miss it..And we won’t even talk about the apple pies and cherry season I never missed a Festival!!!

Not going out on the slippery deck to get a clearer shot of the "Critter Patch," but I get plenty of wildlife traffic, sitting by my window!

Yesterday versus this past summer.

I hear you, Linda. We like the UP and the lower P too. Traverse City is nice. We will try to go up as soon as the Governor opens things up a bit, if she ever does. It may be a while as I hear there are still a few businesses that haven't gone under. We like Maui too.

If I would have known how cool Mackinac island was I would have arrived there much sooner.
We live in the best country, every state has its individual charm. (Don't like California much anymore)

I’m not laughing at you but with you in your mishap... No fun for sure!! I get ticked just for the little zap you get from walking across a carpet, touching something and feel that little zappooo of static electricity!!! No thank you to more...Don’t blame you one bit not wanting to venture into that install more...

Glad yours is working well..! I hope that installer that worked on the ladies heater isn't doing much in that field, sounds like he could cause more harm than good?

Stay safe!! Warm too~~

How cool is that!!! I love watching them come and visit a bit...Always a pleasure they are...

Got to tell you I love your color scheme!! Its beautiful vibrance that elicits peace!! A bit nostalgic reminiscent of Victorian decorum too!! Great combo!!!👏🏻👏🏻

Long story short

Canada sent me to northern China to scope out the hockey scene... I was sending back valuable puck related information when the Chicoms caught on to me...

Instead of sending me to a forced labor camp to make cheap crap for Walmart, they turned me into a double agent... All it took was the sweet love of slanty eyed China doll with a great ass (although beer costing $0.50 was a good incentive too)..

It wasn't long before my handlers realized Canada was completely useless... So instead they turned me loose on America's premier forum - One Political Plaza...

Now here I am interfering in American politics at the highest level

Honestly, I think I should get at least 50% of the credit for Trump losing the e******n... My constant warnings concerning the Wuflu were obviously reverse psychology at its finest
