Not like it was in the past ,people are happy these days if they go to work ,and go home watch TV ,play a video game ,Doesn't matter to them if there rights are taken away ,or who the president is !!! I've watched when people were asked who the president was and didn't know who !!! Or who the vice was and didn't know ,or the president was before Trump ,and they didn't know !! I tend to agree with you that most simply want to have a good life with little downside and as little sacrifice as possible-As long as the politics doesn't seem to effect them, they are ok with it-till comes the day when everything is extremely expensive, medical care is rationed depending upon whose side you are on, and the abundance of food, drink, clothing, and shelter is no longer available. I wonder if those non-thinkers will ever figure out that freedom requires vigilance and willingness to stand up and be counted. Somehow, I doubt it.
