Unintended Consequences

In my illustrious job as a teacher I soon found out that when students were very upset about something, it did not go over well if I told them to sit down and shut up. A better approach was, "Let's sit down and talk about this."
Right now there are millions of people upset about the e******n; they have grievances that have not been heard. Since my side won, why should I care? Just like my classroom, the country is in turmoil. We saw on Wednesday what that unanswered turmoil can lead to.
Here is my suggestion. We need a national forum on TV where all can see. Anyone who believes they saw fraud gets to bring their case before a panel of judges and before the e******n official or b****t counter that they feel did something wrong. Now to be fair, they would need to have in writing what they saw and when they saw it so that the accused person could explain or be found guilty. There should also be a demonstration of how the v**e counting machines work.
There is no way I can make this happen by myself. If you think it should happen, let's write to anyone who has enough clout to make it happen.

For crying out loud, we have systems in place to deal with this sort of thing.......................and they worked perfectly. Not getting the result you want and learning to live with it, is how adults deal with real life. Do you teach your students to reject everything they don't like? Do they take you to court if they don't like the grade you gave them on their tests?

No they send dad or gramma to yell at me so I need to diffuse, explain etc. I'm thinking when a good percentage of a class is up in arms about some ruling that has come down from on high. Again there is a need to diffuse the situation - have somebody come in and explain the ruling, etc.
I spend a good deal of time on this forum. Yes, some people are incorrigible but I find sincere people who just believe there was fraud. My best logical explanations go nowhere. The stories about D******n and Smartmatic machines are going round and round. People saw Trump's numbers drop dramatically at some point. What happened? I don't know.
You think our systems worked perfectly? Yes all e*****rs have been chosen, but I would h**e to have Biden's "class" with millions of people seething because they believe the e******n was s****n.
