Catholics and Christians have faced adversity for centuries as governments throughout different parts of the world sought to silence our voices and stamp out our faith. Yet perhaps the most effective way strongly held beliefs are more easily trampled is when a leader claims to be one of us, a Christian himself, a self-professed Catholic who attends Mass.
For decades, Christians have supported candidates who have assured us they believe what we believe. But a Joe Biden administration, for Christians and Catholics in particular, is more than dangerous to our faith — it will be outright hostile.
Even before the E*******l College certified the v**es of each state, Joe Biden started putting his Cabinet together. He already demonstrated his willingness to blatantly go against the core tenet of Catholicism that holds a******n to be a grave evil when he chose Kamala Harris as his running mate. Harris’s record on supporting a******n is unprecedented, which was already revealed during the campaign.
That’s only the beginning.
It’s not uncommon for p**********l administrations to dismantle policies that their predecessor implemented. One of President Trump’s first actions in office was to halt funds paying for a******ns overseas through the Mexico City Policy. Biden, if sworn into office, will likely reinstate the a******n funding. But he is poised to do much worse. Biden has picked a man to head the Department of Health and Human Services who has built his entire career on oppressing vulnerable individuals.
Xavier Becerra is the current attorney general for the state of California, a job that Biden’s running mate once held. The attorney general has considerable power in any state, but in California, these two individuals grasped that power and wielded it to the detriment of so many innocent human beings, aggressively seeking to obliterate those with whom they disagreed.
The Little Sisters of the Poor, a group of Catholic religious nuns who serve others as their life’s vocation, were sued by Becerra because he wanted them to pay for contraception, which is not only contrary to their faith but completely ridiculous. No matter.
He also sued to force pregnancy resource centers to promote and advertise for a******n. Pregnancy resource centers are specifically in place to give resources and support to women facing crisis pregnancies and help them choose life and in no way to promote a******n.
Biden is a self-professed Catholic, as was exhaustingly pointed out during the campaign by those who couldn’t bear to v**e for Trump. If Biden were a practicing Catholic and someone who genuinely followed the teachings of his Church, which consider a******n a grave evil and religious liberty a true and lasting freedom, he would not have nominated Becerra.
All Catholics and pro-lifers who decided Trump wasn’t worthy of their v**e for wh**ever delirious reason, here’s your sign. Are you thrilled about Biden’s pick of an HHS secretary who built his career on oppressing nuns and fighting to make sure the road to a******n is smooth and without obstacles?
It gets worse.
Becerra also spent more than two decades in Congress, where he v**ed 100% of the time in favor of expanding a******n, right up till birth. He even v**ed against the ban on grisly partial-birth a******ns.
The HHS secretary position is no stranger to ardent a******n supporters. Back in 2009, President Barack Obama appointed Kathleen Sebelius, then-governor of Kansas, to the position. Ms. Sebelius was quite close to George Tiller, the late-term a******n doctor who committed a******ns right through the second and third trimesters.
All three of these individuals — Biden, Becerra, and Sebelius — have two significant common denominators: They are all self-professed Catholics, and they all support a******n on demand. That position is in direct opposition to the faith they make a show of professing. The Catholic Church is adamantly opposed to the deliberate taking of innocent life. The importance of how far apart these two sets of values are cannot be overstated. Catholics cannot claim to support a******n and practice their faith. This is not a judgment on anyone but a statement on what the Catholic Church authentically teaches and with good reasons.
The fact that these three self-professed Catholics are able to attend Mass with no consequences from our Church leadership is a deep-rooted scandal within our own ranks. We have been abandoned by our bishops, who are supposed to be teachers of our beautiful faith and not lead their flock astray, as they have so terribly done when they’ve refused to forcefully call out these public figures and refuse to allow them reception of the sacraments. Their recent doublespeak on the moral permissibility of the C****-** v*****e, which, yes, was tested using aborted baby cells but that it is fine to take, is another example of their complete abandonment of faithful Catholic teaching.
Yet pro-lifers, Catholics, and Christians v**ed en masse to allow Biden the opportunity to fill his Cabinet with people who are hell-bent on destroying religious liberty and expanding access to a******ns up until the moment of birth, or even beyond as Harris believes. Their position is completely indefensible.

I could never understand the hypocrisy of many Catholics and Christians who v**ed for Biden and Kamala, the most radical against the Christian faith. I am hurting, that many in the Catholic Church, have turned against the dogma that we have carried on since baptism.

This was the universal church created by Christ. It appears that the Vatican has turned to the left. I hope I am wrong about this. But visibly, many Archbishops and Bishops still maintain and support the old Magisterium . Though universally, have no power to enforce upon the people. But I will be consistent and abide my faith since the beginning.

I was raised a Catholic, no longer consider myself a Catholic, but would stand behind the Catholics on this issue. As a basic human being, what I call a naturalist, I can't conceive of k*****g a baby. And it is a baby from the moment of conception. That is indisputable. And for these pro a******n so called Catholics, they should be deprived of the Sacraments and be considered for excommunication, especially with the v**e for or action taken to promote, or encouragee a******n, Or in any other capacity actively push a******n or inactively allow it to go on.

I am a committed Catholic. I know a woman who is a very committed Catholic. One day I told her that I seem to remember a southern evangelist, & I think it was Jerry Falwell, who told his followers to get over their hostility to Catholics and Catholicism because what was happening to us then wold be happening to the other denominations soon. She agreed with me.

Look what's going on right now. Biden has already promised to repeal the Hyde Amendment. He should be ex-communicated.

But I do know that this is true. I know from associates of Murray Rothbard, the godfather of post-war libertarianism, that he was very impressed with the Church's consistency with natural law.
