If it was because of an accident, yes I would forgive him/or her. If he murdered my loved one, may he rot in hell for eternity.

I agree with you. We are supposed to forgive, not sit in judgment. It would be very stressful.

I heard it said that h**e is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die. You forgive not so much for the other person, but to relieve yourself of the burden of h**e that will eat you up inside.

I guess I will have a burden of h**e,because I believe an eye for an eye! I also believe in Death Penalty !

I don't think anyone can answer that question until they're in "those shoes".
But I would try to be obedient to my Master’s commands. Which means...forgive.

You noticed I said I would still want them held accountable for what they did. Forgiveness is for your own good. Accountability is for the good of society. Otherwise their would be anarchy.
