If the C****-** v*****e were available to you, would you take it?

I have never had a flu shot and have never had the flu. Well, at least that I know of aware of its symptoms. But this new p******c is a bit more frightening, especially for me at 73 with underlying health conditions nearly galore. What is strange is my reasoning for taking this new v*****e: I do not want to be just another statistic in its Death Column. It reminded me of a saying by Stalin: "One death is a tragedy, a million just a statistic." I would like to die a tragic death.

The argument in my head against taking it is the pure fear-motive: I do not like being coerced. I suppose that is like the no-maskers. As our whole way of life has been disrupted and changed by this v***s, taking the v*****e seems like a concession to its power, an admission of defeat somehow. I am still undecided. How about you?

I have a great family doctor who I trust. I like him for many reasons but a big one is that he is a scholar and constantly pursues education and knowledge in his field. I have had some medical training but am in no way as qualified as he is so when it comes to decisions such as v******tions I defer to his wisdom. So far he has not steered me wrong. The suggestion I would make is to ignore the anti v*****e crap on Facebook and if you are anxious about receiving the v*****e raise those concerns with your physician and follow their advice.

Thanks Rumi. Feel good yet will have to wait and see. I was told by my doctor s nurse that I had to quarantine for 14 days, now the CDC says you have to isolate for only 10 days. Who is right?

No and I am 72 and not worried and do not wear a mask because there is no p******c.

Yes, but not the one needing to be super cooled. What happens if it reaches room temperature? What happens if it is injected even though refrigeration failed ( or someone failed to refrigerate it in the first place )? What happens if it leaves production properly cooled, warms up somewhere in t***sit, is re-cooled on delivery, then injected?

Too many question unasked and unanswered.
